The food was excellent, but the counter person would not give me pricing, and there is no pricing on menus or counter. I asked twice, and she just said I can pay when I'm done. I had an excellent cachapa con queso with fried pork, an order of tequeños and a bottle of water. All the food was fabulous but $28 and some changes later was unexpected. I took ownership since I agreed to order on those terms and tipped 20%. But I probably won't be going back. I'm not sure why Venezuelan food is so expensive here in North Texas, but it seems to be the modus operandi. Guess I'll be buying arina pan and making the food myself cause I ain't a rich Venezuelan!

5 stars. It's delicious with generous portions of meat. The ladies that are usually there are sweethearts.

I only tried the quail eggs arepas (as fas as I know you can not find them anywhere else in DFW) and the chicha ( it’s like an horchata but thicker), I’m just happy to find a place where I can try some flavors that I miss so much from home. I’ll definitely be coming back. Keep the good work!
Excellent service, very nice and kind owner, thank you for the good time, I felt super good and well cared for. I recommend her 100%, I would definitely return with great pleasure!! Keep in that way

Just experienced this small but flavorful restaurant in Lewisville. We had ordered Arepas, Beef soup , fried plantain, a combo platter of chorizo, sausage, rice, beans .. finally my son always wants a Mexican coke and flan when we are at a Latino restaurant. All the food was flavorful and heartful. It seemed like home cooked and the service was very friendly. Surely in the list of return for sure.. the Flan was fresh, soft and had the right amount of caramelized sugar with that little tinge of bitter. The beef soup was hearty with a lot of veggies and big chunks of meat. The arepa tasted similar to a breakfast dish we make back at home with rice flour..loved it.
