I ordered the cranberry and pecan wild field salad with salmon. It was between $11-12 for the entire thing. It was the size of a side salad anywhere else. I ate it and still needed something to eat for dinner. I used to go to La Madeline all the time but a different location. I'm not willing to waste more money to find out if this is a location issue or a company issue. On top of the high price for alot of nothing, we had to wait forever for the order and it wasn't even complete as I had to go back in and ask for the salmon that they forgot to put on the salad! Even with the pandemic beginning 2 years ago, I haven't had this terrible of an experience with any restaurant. This location would be better off with a different restaurant in the space.

I used to come to this Lewisville, TX location a lot. We recently moved away but I was back in town for a scheduled appointment. Not only was my strawberry spinach salad with chicken very disappointing, so was the inside of the restaurant. I came inside to place a to go order and if I had walked in to eat inside I would have turned around and walked out. It looked like a garbage truck had dumped its load inside. VERY dirty! Lots of empty tables still piled with dirty dishes. The bakery shelves were almost depleted with nothing but crumbs left (at least wipe the crumbs out and clean it up for goodness sakes). I should have turned around and walked out, but I had just driven 4 hours and I was hungry. Please clean it up or close it.

The manager who was manning the fort on the evening of 1/19/22 deserves a Purple Heart and a pay raise. Stopped by to place a takeout order about 6:30 pm and he was apparently the only employee on the premises. Although—with no support—he was reduced to serving takeout only, he processed a fairly large order flawlessly. LaMadeleine basics Caesar salad, tomato basil soup, and sandwiches were turned around in 20 minutes and the quality was virtually indistinguishable from normal circumstances.

We ordered breakfast for dinner as take out, and our omelette with an extra egg and twice the veggies was delicious! The staff were very kind and working hard with a positive attitude.I'm not sure if it was the website or the user, but the process for selecting omelette ingredients wasn't clear. Be careful not to order each ingredient twice, like I may have done!

Always excellent for the 30 years I have patronized their many locations. The food is fresh & the service is quick. The prices are reasonable but more than a student budget can afford often.

Not sure why I went back after the last experience. So last time I was here they had to cook new chicken friend, took like an hour and then they burnt it. I was hungry so I had no choice but to eat it..life went on. Today, I order curbside and I get a call. Points for telling me something is out but why not offer extras to make up for my desired and paid for item being out. I got three things, two out of three - terrible. Tomato pesto pasta looked like it had no tomato sauce or the tiniest ration of it plus tasted so bland. Surprise surprise they were out of chicken friand that I ordered - so I had to get something else. While the sandwich was not bad, I give you the worst strawberry bacon salad I’ve ever had in my la Madeline life. There was no feta to be found, not many strawberries or bacon, and the dressing seemed to lack flavor. It’s like I had a mouth full of oily spinach and random bits of nuts. Totally disappointed..not coming back to this one..donewith simple errors and poorly executed foods

I've been to tons of La Madeleine I came close to the stores close, on the first day of the year, and the 2 staff members were very helpful and respectful, they made several suggestions, and the food was phenomenal, the experience was definitely memorable and their teamwork inspirational! I hope La Madeleine does something to praise them for their excellent work! 1/1/22 will be coming back sometime!

I left my purse at La Madeleine after having lunch there and didn't realize it (thanks to pregnancy brain). Late that night, I received a call from the general manager to let me know that he had my purse and put it in the safe for me. The fact that he took the time to not only keep my purse in a safe place but to go through the trouble of looking me up to find my phone number to reach me to let me know he had it, really went over and beyond great service. Thank you so very much!

Got to enjoy a really good breakfast here. The staff is exceptional and even gave us free drinks. The breakfast was really good too. However the real star is the pastries ! I really enjoyed the fruit tart and the filled croissants. Prices are a tad bit high but worth the experience !

Not entirely sure why corporate lets this continue instead of correcting it.Update - Promise time was 1:45. Got food at 2:40. Missing entire Entrée, Pasta didn't have any meat.

Craving a potato galette, we stopped at this location. The decor has been refreshed to white tile and you now must order rather than go through a cafe style line with your tray. The white aesthetic is not pleasing, like, at all. We waited 20 minutes for 2 galettes and 1 avocado toast. The galettes were stale, hard & not good. The avocado toast - toast part was hard as a rock and the avocado was cold, unpleasantly cold. All in all our first bad La Madeline experience.

Disappointed because we have just found this restaurant and had been happy so far. This trip, our first to this location, we waited for 10 minutes before getting close enough to the display case to see a fly on the deflated and undersized pastries. Pastry should make you happy, we were sad. We had 2 more people in front of us and at the rate we were going, thats at least another 10 minutes of waiting, so we left.... The new one in Mckinney seems to have started on the right foot however. I'm guessing it's COVID but I'm just tired of paying for poor service and quality/quantity, so now we just leave.

Disappointed in the service but it worth mentioning that the place was extremely understaffed. Left without every getting a latte or a refund for said coffee. Will come back when they are adequately staffed. Food was really good thou.
