Holy smokes. Best I've ever had. Arguably the best in Texas. Get there EARLY. 5am. Bring a folding chair. Coffee. Half the fun is the people you meet in line waiting for them to open. Real fun starts around 8am though. IYKYKBrisket melts in your mouth. Perfectly done. Barq. Smoke rings. Juicy. Ribs... Tender, perfect seasoning. A total experience.
Today, we visited the renowned Snows BBQ in Lexington, Texas. Arriving around midnight on a Friday, we found ourselves in the midst of a line that stretched to number 14 and 15, a testament to the establishment's popularity. It was a packed house on Sat. But it is something to be expected. Great BBQ, and atmosphere where strangers become friends while waiting in line. Make sure and arrive early to get to enjoy all the meats on the menu. Got to meet the queen of Texas BBQ Ms.Tootsie.
