“I'd heard there is a Vietnamese cafe in a former Dairy Queen, but with a Texas twist. It's also a donut shop, with regional stuff like bodin sausage kolaches, jalapeños on anything you want, and all the sticky sweet cinnaminy-sugared-and-glazed-carb-crack-cocaine delights you could ever want. Oh... and crazy good Vietnamese lunch fare and boba. I had no idea. I ordered lunch. It was way too much, because I was thinking a simple "soup-and-sandwich" lunch. They think, "meal in a french roll" and "meal in a bowl." Yes. I ordered 2 meals for myself. The sandwich (banh mi) is this crusty french bread roll with heavenly asian sliced brisket and sweet fresh veggies. The combo "noodle soup" (pho) in the picture is this bucket-sized concoction of delicious broth, piles of noodles, fresh veg and sprouts, and a couple of huge gulf shrimp, plus boudin sausage, plus sliced brisket. This is Vietnamese food with a strong "y'all" attached. They aren't on Facebook, but if you want to check it out, it's "Bestco Donut and Boba" and they are on Google Maps.“

“Being from Dallas and eating fresh sushi regularly I hold places to high standards. I was hesitant eating here being in a small town. The sushi was amazing. The taste was excellent, and the portion of sushi ro rice was perfect. I can’t stand a place the puts very little sushi with large portion of rice. I don’t like super spicy but ordered the Spicy Combo ( Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon and spicy crab roll). Perfect amount of heat that didn’t overwhelm the taste of the sushi roll but stayed just a little bit. I also ordered the shrimp tempura roll and was surprised there were 2 pieces of shrimp and the right amount of eel sauce. Wonderful experience and would recommend 10 out of 10 times! I’ll be back… probably tomorrow“

“The food was fantastic. I had the spring rolls and their beef bahn mi (Vietnamese sandwich on the menu), and a matcha green tea. Everything was hand-prepared, and the vegetables were all very fresh. The tea was really good as well. It's not fast food, but it's all made fresh, so I can appreciate that and don't mind waiting for a bit. Very happy to find a place like this for lunch in Livingston.Dietary restrictions: The lady in line ahead of me had some specific dietary needs that involved them completely cleaning the grill before they could prepare her food. They were happy to accommodate her and were careful to ensure they got the details correct when taking her order.“
