Good food in Downtown Longview. Classic Italian food with some twists. I love coming downtown when I come to visit Longview. Tuscan pig was a new spot for me and it was pretty good.

We were in town for a dog sport event from Missouri and stopped here for dinner, as it was close to our hotel and had nice reviews. The food was delicious and the service was refreshingly attentive. We especially enjoyed the Tuscan Pork Bruschetta appetizer. SO good! For the entree, I chose mushroom stuffed pasta with the creamy pesto sauce and highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our dinner at this little gem of a restaurant!

I contacted Rudy to help plan a celebration of life for my mother. He was very courteous and helpful and provided an excellent luncheon for our family and friends. I highly recommend The Tuscan Pig for dinner or event hosting. Professional staff, excellent food, and a lovely event space.

Due to the rating of this restaurant at a 5, and we are unfamiliar with the area, thought we’d give it a try. The service was overly attentive. We had 3 wait staff helping us. They liked to show you pictures of the meals on their iPads. Helped us understand the size of the serving. One of us had the dinner salad and chicken parmigiana with a side of spaghetti. She ate it all. Said it was very good. The spaghetti and meatballs eaten by another at our table was nothing special. He called it average. The chicken Caesar salad was served with dressing in little plastic containers. Wish it had more flavor and preferred it on the salad. Cheese was good but not enough. The croutons were baked and large. The chicken was a bit dry. but there was a lot of it. Lots of greens and tomatoes. It was very average. However as many seem to find the meals here worthy of a 5, maybe we have eaten at other Italian restaurants and found this one just not worth our return.

This place is really good. We have been several times and always a great experience. The people are always friendly, and the food is homemade.

The owners are from Italy and the food was superb. We had the chicken lasagna, shrimp and pesto, caprese salad and garlic bread. So much tastier than Olive Garden! The wine is served in lovely thick crystal glasses. Magnificent!

We were passing through town and were staying nearby. We found the advertisement and it looked interesting. We were welcomed immediately and seated. The young woman taking care of us, Nessa, was very quick to get our drinks and then tell us about the specials and her favorite dishes. We had the mozzarella and tomato salad which was very fresh. We also had the shrimp and pesto. for entrees we had one with signature ragu which is pork that has been cooked for many hours and one with linguine and baked parm on top. We were extra full and had leftovers.

This is a great place for delicious Tuscan Italian dishes and great table service. We wanted a light dinner and shared the Cheese Bread with Signature Tuscan Style Pork and a serving of the Tuscan Tomato Soup. This combination was perfect paired with a Toscana red blend wine. We topped it off with the hand made Tiramisu that was perfection! Will definitely come again when we are in Longview.

Our party enjoyed a variety of dishes, from Caprese salad to lasagne, and they were all delicious.

Very good food and excellent service. The waiters really hustled. He had a large group and they were johnny-on-the-spot serving. A little hard to find, it's near downtown, far away from other food places that all tend to be out on the loop.

My colleague did a search of the town online and came across Tuscan Pig. I was a bit hesitant as we pulled up, but I have to say I was 100% wrong. Everything we had here was delicious and the service was prompt and courteous. Anytime I'm back in Longview, I'm going to stop by here.

My wife and I took our granddaughter out to dinner and brought her to Tuscan Pig. This is truly a hidden gem in Longview. Service is excellent ( and that’s a troublemaker area for Longview). The servers are well informed of all the items on the menu. There very polite. They take the dishes, when your done, cleared when your done. But best of all, Mr. Rudy the owner was at the door to greet and seat us when we came in. The food is true authentic Italian and you will not be disappointed. All the appetizers, entrees, and desserts were EXCELLENT. Do yourself a favor and go here. Thanks Tuscan Pig for a excellent meal, and we’ll be back!

I wish I hadn't waited so long to try this place out. This was a perfect Friday night date spot. Good atmosphere. Delicious food. Quality service. We shared the Caprese salad as an appetizer. I ordered the Country Lasagna and my husband ordered the keto friendly meat dish with no pasta. Wow!!!! Every bite was just as delicious as the first. There is nothing like their Tuscan style pork. I want to eventually try everything on the menu. It all was just that good. We ended our meal sharing a slice of heaven...Homeade Tiramisu. Thank you to Frank and Rudy for a wonderful dining experience.

We are traveling by car from Tucson, AZ to Atlanta, GA and found this wonderful restaurant by accident. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. This will be a for-sure stop whenever we pass this way again.

Wow, I can't believe all the good reviews on this restaurant. They really only serve one dish - which is a glob of greasy cheese. Which I suppose is something most people like. As for me, when I order something, I want to taste and see what I ordered. During my visit, I had the eggplant parmesan with pork and my spouse had the lasagna. What we received was exactly the same - a huge bowl of cheese that smothered what we were supposed to have for dinner. Seriously, I had to hunt several minutes to find either the pork or the eggplant, and my spouse had maybe a tablespoon of bolognese or the pork ragu that was supposed to be in the lasagna. I would call our meals "meh" at best. There are two reasons I am rating this place one star. First, they have deceptive wine pricing. We ordered a bottle of chianti, only to find that the price listed is "bottle setup" per person, not the bottle price. So we ended up paying double what we expected. Does that mean that if only one of us drank the wine and finished the bottle, we would have paid the listed price? What if there were four of us? Ridiculous. But the most shocking thing is how they handled a food delivery order that I observed. I witnessed someone who I presumed is the owner, phone someone who had just picked up their takeout order. He told them that they had been given the wrong order by mistake, and could they please come back and get the right order. The order that was erroneously picked up apparently was for a popular food delivery service. When the driver for that service came in, they had to wait a good 10-15 minutes (time is money for these people!) because the order wasn't ready. HOWEVER. rather than fire up a replacement order, they gave the driver *the food that was returned* by the people who originally picked it up. If that isn't illegal, it is gross to say the least. Who knows how the returned food was handled once it was out of the restaurant's hands? Not only did the people who ordered delivery food likely get food that was completely cold at that point, they also may have received food that was tampered with. Horrible and shocking display of poor business practice, while screwing over the delivery driver to boot.
