I've been a huge fan of Alamo Drafthouse since I moved to Austin in 2010. The Lubbock location provides the same level of cinema experience as any other location in Texas. I presently live in Amarillo, but it was worth the drive down to watch Dune Part 2 with no talkers and great food.

Really good food, good service, and the bartenders/ servers are nice and friendly. Me and my wife love coming here. This is the only place we come watch are movies and enjoy eating and drinking while we watch our movies. Good environment for adults and kids

I am disabled and I love going to the Alamo. It has the feel of an old fashioned movie cinema and accommodates my wheelchair beautifully. There is a family bathroom that is large enough for me & my caregiver and it is always clean.Once we are in our seats, we can order any number of yummy treats. It is no problem for me to eat & watch a movie. My husband says that the serving of food and eating of it is distracting & he can't focus on the movie. Balderdash I say!This is a movie theater for movie lovers. They don't tolerate talking, texting, crying babies, or other unruly behaviors.As a plus, they occasionally host sing alongs with popular movies & other movie funfest. Plus afterwards, you can always go eat at the excellent burger joint Tangled Root or get some of Lubbock's best sushi at O'Hana's Japanese Sushi and Hibachi Grill.
