Owner was supa nice and friendly. Food was supa great and the chicken skin was sooo crispy and flavorful? Not many people dining in, should definitely be filled up with customers with this quality of food. I most def will be back.
Heard about this place; went there ordered Take out due to have a baby so guy that took out order was super nice. And then when we ate the chicken; damn hits the spot. Just flavorful chicken and all around just good. Also very reasonably priced as well. Will come back when we are craving good fried chicken. Just will need to come in earlier to try the Mac and cheese; also mashed potatoes were super good.

Best fried chicken in Lubbock. Amazing food and insanely warm & welcoming atmosphere. Home-quality comfort food with service to match. Our waiter was Robert, bald black man, he was very kind, accommodating and cooperative! Can’t wait to come back.
We tried this place for the first time on a whim and I’m sure glad we did! If you’re looking for authentic southern food with a welcoming atmosphere then look no further! They really put their heart into their food which is a wonderful change from today’s food market. We were welcomed immediately and made to feel right at home, and not just another customer to get in and get out! We only did take out but the brief time we waited on our food, made us want to unpack our bag and eat right there! Once we got home the food was EXACTLY what we expected after the atmosphere we experienced! Everything was seasoned to perfection! And the green beans were absolutely amazing!! Give them a try if you’re tired of dry fried chicken from an even more dry place!

I have followed the Lee's and their restaurants all over Lubbock. I can't believe today was my first time at Bucket of Love. Best home cooking! Love the family-style servings. This will definitely be the restaurant for me and my family when we want a home cooked meal away from home.

Chicken and side dishes were good, I was a little disappointed with the fried green tomatoes, it's a little pricey but overall good food, next time I'll try the catfish.
