The food is good. We came in on busy day so there was a bit of a wait but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is super friendly and checks in to make sure you are doing okay. They are still pretty new to the area(atleast new to me) and they have a lot of business both in the restaurant and for order. If you aren’t a person who understands how business work and how cooking works then go work in the industry till you do. Again this place was Amazing! And I will definitely be coming back or ordering. Alison was such a great server too.

I got the tenders spicy. Spice level was good but zero salt to be found. The Mac n cheese was dissatisfying lack of cheese and flavor.Biscuit was good and gravy great.Tea was great too.Fried pickles were good ranch and range sauce tasted funky. Overall kind of disappointing.Bathrooms and dining seats dirty. Soap was wayyyy out in the bathroom. This place just opened the ownership group should be ashamed to already let this place go. There’s about to be a lot of chicken restaurants in this town and if this place can’t figure it out it won’t be a player in that mix.Dirks still reigns supreme.

The wait staff was great. Lunch was fast even thought it was packed on a Sunday. The food tastes amazing. We will be back often.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating options and kids meal options.

For this visit I was surely impressed my the overall experience I had here. My server Allison was attentive and knowledgeable and allowed me to ask her lots of questions and even get some great recommendations. Our server said the roasted chicken was her favorite plate on the menu, and WOW! She was right! I got this with the green beans and a roll! As much as I wanted to eat every bite, I was stuffed! I can’t wait to come back and try more plates and have great service.

Was a little worried from the other reviews, but my experience was great. Had the Wed lunch special, and the wings were good-sized. I had the apple habenero sauce that the waitress suggested. It was not hot but super good. The green beans were a great side. I would for sure go back, but I would avoid the steak fingers. Someone in our group got them, and I thought they were a little tough.

The floor was filthy, food everywhere and silverware all on the ground (this was after 3pm). We got fried pickles for an appetizer and there was zero taste to the actual cucumbers that were used. We needed silverware and it came with only one persons food and didn’t even have a fork. We got zero napkins the whole time we were there. The ones that asked for biscuits and not rolls didn’t get them. We were missing sides, they were out of macaroni and decided to tells us only a few minutes before our food arrived. All of our food was cold, our drinks were empty from the time we got our appetizer till about the last 10mins of leaving. For spending $85 on an appetizer and 4 meals it was definitely not worth it

Everything about the food was amazing!! It was all fresh and hot. The loaded curly fries are now a personal favorite. The real deal is more than enough food. Service was great and fast. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Will definitely be back.

Seated ourselves no problem. He brought our menus but we had to ask for silverware which was only a fork and did not include a knife. I ordered a side salad with Green Goddess dressing which has a very nice flavor, but the salad came in a narrow tall cup which made it difficult to mix the dressing with the salad. The chicken tenders were moist and tender. The breading tended to flake off super easy, but not a big deal. The gravy it came with was very peppery. Wanted to try the roll and biscuit and they tasted okay, but were very dense.

I was really excited to try this place out. I'm a big fan of Dirks chicken strips and have gone to Neighborhood F&B because they have Dirks chickens strips there as well. When I saw this place open I knew they weren't affiliated with them, but was excited to have a new place that had a focus on chicken to add to the rotation.I've been 3 times now hoping I would enjoy it but each time It just keeps letting down unfortunately. The Good:- The sweet tea is very good. It has the right mixture of sweetness but isn't overpowering. I would say this is probably one of my favorite sweet tea's in Lubbock quite truthfully.- The fries have a good seasoning and have just the right crunchiness so they are quite good. The Bad:- Portion Size. The tenders feel quite small. They seem to be a little smaller than the tenders at Slim Chickens and a couple more dollars than that. I mentioned I love the Dirks Chicken strips earlier and wanting to add a new place to the rotation. The Dirks Chicken strips are about double the size of these strips for just a couple of dollars more, so in general cost to portion size, these don't come close.- Speed. When we came in today, there was only one other occupied table and they were paying as we got there, so we ended up being the only table in the store. We ordered and it took about 20 minutes for our table of 2 to get food. My food came back incorrectly which isn't a big deal. Mistakes happen so I wasn't mad about that, but then to get the right food out took another 15-20 minutes, so by the time it got there it just had to be put in a to go box.- Chicken quality? I don't know if this is the right word or description of this. Each time I've gone the chicken has looked/tasted overcooked and dried out. I'm not sure if this is a chicken thing, an oil thing, the amount of time the chicken is being cooked or exactly what it is.The Mixed Review:Service: The waiter we had was incredibly friendly. When the food came out incorrectly this visit he was incredibly apologetic so that was great to see, so kudos to that. Also because it took almost 45 minutes to get the correct order to us, he did comp out the drinks which was great to see. However, he was behind the bar for most of the time we were there on his phone. We had empty drinks for about 10 minutes, before he finally looked up and realized we were out of drinks. When all the tables are filled, I completely get it, but considering we were the only table in at the time, that really shouldn't be happening.Overall, I really really want to like this place, but it just hasn't hit the mark. The menu has some interesting takes on chicken that I really like and I do think the potential is there for this place, but it seems like there are still some marks that just aren't being hit.
