The bar is nestled inside the Alamo Drafthouse, however you do not need a ticket to enjoy the Glass Half Full Taproom.If you have been to an Alamo Drafthouse in other cities, you know that the decor in this bar is lackluster. However, they do have some cool vintage repro art work on the walls, offer a chill atmosphere and have plenty of seating. They offer food, a full bar and of course lots of draft beer options. I think they have about 35 beers on tap. For my most recent visit, I was there with a group of ladies from a social group (yes we even had a table reserved for us). Our server was Brandon and he did a fantastic job. The Manager (Michael) also stopped by a few times to ensure that our group had everything we needed. Y'all they even have a FANTASTIC HAPPY HOUR with food and drink specials!

The Taproom has excellent staff and all of the same great food offered in the Alamo Theater. They were very accommodating when we wanted to hold our office Christmas party here (which then followed on for a movie). We'd definitely do it again.

Only place to watch a movie! They mean it when they say they will kick you out if you disturb others in the movie. And the best part is they have a full kitchen and bar with no children allowed or strictly controlled by parents.

In case you don't know, this Taproom is inside the Alamo Drafthouse. Like a lot of other folks, my wife and I like to grab a beer here before we attend a movie at the Alamo. They have a wide selection of draft beers and are able to quench my wife's thirst for a cider on draft as well. The bartenders are always knowledgeable about their products and friendly. I would consider this to be one of the nicest places to grab a drink in Lubbock and have just convinced myself to start coming here even without the movie.

Great fun. Enjoyed the movie and the food was great. I ordered the hummus which was an ample dish with carrots, bue and green bell pepers, celery and pita bread. Perfect for watching a movie.
