My favorite coffee shop in Texas, top 5 in the world! Monomyth has incredible coffee and fun drinks, but it’s more than just a good cup. They have totally curated the feeling of a warm hug from an old friend into a coffee shop. Every thing is so intentional about this place and everyone who walks in the door feels it. Places with coffee this good can get super pretentious really fast, and this crew has always kept things friendly and inviting, no matter you knowledge. I travel internationally a lot and really no place can compare to Monomyth when it comes to inviting people in and serving high quality beans. Try a cold brew cola if you’re feeling adventurous! (:Kid-friendliness: They have a changing table in the bathroom!!!

Originally came that cafe because wanted to try its toasts. Unfortunately they did not make today. We tried its egg quiche and liked it! They were light and delicious! We also ordered latte signatures (ginger latte and hot choc peppermint). The place was spacious and a perfect place to study! The parking area maybe tricky.

This place is super cute, seems like a great place to study or hang out. I will say... the iced vanilla matcha latte with almond milk I got was not good. My best guess is that the matcha powder they use isn't great quality? I couldn't taste the matcha, it was super sweet, and had a weird aftertaste. I drank maybe a fourth of it then tossed it, so that was a bummer. But the place was busy so I'm sure their other drinks are great!

Monmouth was the beginning of my wonderful journey to find the perfect iced chai. This incredible establishment taught me to love morning drinks and see out places during my adventures to find the best chai. Monomyth had incredible atmosphere and employees who remember your name. The chai there is also incredible and some of the best in Lubbock.
