This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in Lubbock. The service is always great, the food never disappoints. They have a very large variety of rolls and sashimi. Plus the ramen is also amazing. I’ve taken all of my friends here already and they now come here often. 5/5

The food was good, I liked it, I ate there one day, and liked it so much I came the next day, Second time upset my stomach though. I really did like it until an instance today. I got the strawberry lemonade and they told me specifically that the lemonade was free refills, so I’m okay with that. When I need a refill another waiter stopped by and asked and said that lemonade was free but strawberry was not. So I turn to my partner and say Is normal okay? And we say yeah, and I know for a fact that I said Normal lemonade…my cup wasn’t even empty I only wanted one for her, but then the waitress comes back with 2 strawberry lemonades. I think to myself “oh okay I guess strawberry lemonade refills were free, and that she was talking about some other addon” and continue. Comes the bill and I’m charged for 4 drinks(keep in mind we’re two people and the drinks alone came up to almost twenty dollars. Crazy expensive per drink but it’s whatever) I ask about it and they explain then I explain I wanted the free refill one, they say that I must’ve miss understood. Didn’t want to cause a scene so I paid left an 18% tip and just left. Its really disappointing when you know that a refill only costs them 10-20 cents on average yet I was charged like an extra $9 for it. I liked the food, disappointed this had to happen.

Beautiful, modern location. Everything right down to the table setup was clean and thoughtful. The service was amazing. They came to check up on us at the right moments and the food came out very fast. The food looked and tasted as much or even more than we paid for it. My black dragon roll has a HUGE eel filet which surprised me and was delightful. Our check came out to $90.00 with expensive, but quality, rolls, bun appetizer, tuna tataki, eel sashimi and a large order of sake. The food came out very fast! 5 stars. We will be back again soon!
