I saw the commercial for their Epic Stuffed Crust Garlic Lover's pizza. I stopped going to Papa John's years ago and not because of the scandal, but because the pizza just has no character or flavor. The recipe is still the same-it's like eating nothing. The store is clean. The customer service was great! I even tried adding the sauce, but it tastes like that butter flavored oil that you put on popcorn. Their call in number isn't local either its a call center! I was telling the lady the landmarks next to where I wanted to order my pizza to confirm it and she had no idea-all she could do was repeat the address. Why outsource calling for pizza? The employees at the location were great, but the product isn't what it looks like in the ads.

I decided to give poppa John’s a try after not trying them for a while. Overall it was pretty good. I wouldn’t put it as one of the better pizza places in Lubbock. Looks like they rush to make it as some of the pieces didn’t have the toppings that were ordered.Parking: Tons of parking.

yall I'm writing a pizza delivery review for 1 reason - James our delivery guy!We are here from Fort Worth and he delivered right after we got all our stuff hauled in ... so fast. He called cause I didn't put a room # on our order. I sent my granddaughter to lobby. He came back up with her because he couldn't deliver to her. Lol at home our delivery will give it to the dog if he gets there 1st LOL. And get this he broughts plates & napkins cause we were at a hotel! ( I didn't request!)Great Employee!

Papa Johns is one of our favorite pizza joints. Unfortunately, we don't go as often as we would like. Otherwise, we'd be 50 lbs heavier. I eat crustless pizza on occasions and eat a couple of my husband's crusts. I love it, and I feel a little better about the carbs I'm eating

I have no idea what happened to Papa John's hadn't tried it in years. Today I ordered two pizzas and they tasted like store bought. I'm sure the fact that they weren't cooked all the way was part of it.Going to stick with Domino's.
Wesley was the most attentive and generous employee i’ve ever seen at a papa john’s. Really took my experience to a new level. For sure choosing this papa john’s location over ANY dominos in the county. Wesley I thank you for your service.

Placed a delivery order at 4:31 pm. The email said it would be ready in 28 minutes. It was delivered 58 minutes later and was barely even warm. I asked for the pizza to be well-done, it wasn't even close to well done.I usually love Papa John's, but if you're smart you'll avoid this location. Total garbage.
