This place is unbelievably slow and unprofessional. Me and my girlfriend ordered two chais when there were like 3 people in the store, and we've been waiting 30 minutes. The decoration and building itself sucks on the inside, it's super boring and weirdly quiet. Hopefully it's the best chai I've ever had because it's taken 4x longer than any drink I've ever gotten from a coffee/tea place. Do not recommend.

POSITIVES: (1) Great service; very friendly! (2) Cool place to hang out and work, etc. CHALLENGES (1) Ordered a hot chai extra sweet. The drink was so hot I couldn't hold it, even with another insulating cup. Wasn't sweet the first time or even the second time, after remaking it. Was excited about their vanilla chai loose tea, but unfortunately tasted like really hot milk water.

I first went here on a date with my girlfriend, and its so nice! Its amazingly cozy and inviting, and they're drinks seem to be legit. Its not expensive, the only bad part would be the tight parking, but I think thats easily overshadowed by the quality there.

I have been coming here consistently because this is the only place I'll come to get iced coffee, literally I refuse to get iced coffee from anywhere else. However, this is not what I'm writing this review about today. Today, I'm writing it about the man who served me today. I walk in. First thing I see are few families chatting, a couple of students studying, and then the barista. I was kind of surprised to find that he was working all by himself. I go to the counter and he informs me that he'll be with my as soon as he can. I waited at the counter for a few minutes but then he greeted me with a smile and took my order. You could tell that he was a little bit stressed, as anyone would if they were the only employee. After I placed my order I took a seat. As I'm waiting, he gives one family their drinks. Then another family, then another. Then, someone comes in. I get nervous for him because it seems like he is a little backed up on orders being by himself. Then another person comes in, then another, then another. At this point, I'm genuinely worried about the man, and being a former barista myself, I can relate to the pressure he must be feeling. I almost asked him if he would let me take orders for him at least. After a bit of waiting, I received my drink. I thanked him and he gave me a smile and returned to work. Simply, I'd just like to congratulate him on his excellent customer service when the weight of the company was being placed on his shoulders. He did an incredible job and handled everything and everyone so well, I just wanted to come on here and applaud him. Give the boy a raise or a few days off, it seems like he's earned it. Way to go, sir!

This was my first time. I had the Royal Wedding tea. It was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

Immediately upon walking into Pearl Boba I found the decor and atmosphere extremely charming and welcoming. It's overall an extremely cozy feeling. I got a rose milk tea and a salted caramel macaroon. Both were great and I will be coming back here in the future.

Really great place to study as it’s usually quiet and has a lot of seating. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The macaroons are fresh and some of the best that I’ve tried

Very quaint and nice. My chosen drink though was too sweet for my tastes.

This boba place is one of the few good boba place in Lubbock considering the seating and customer service!! (And I'm from Dallas so I'm pretty picky when it comes to study spots) 10/10 would recommend :)

Our order: Lavender Blooming Tea half sweet with milk foam: Very good. I recommend it to everyone. Lychee milk tea with milk foam and tapioca: same as above very good. Vietnamese coffee: mom said it was decent, very close to home made. A SMALL BLACK HOT COFFEE: NO TERRIBLE! The girl at the register was super sweet. She took our orders and it seemed she was new so she turned around and asked her co-worker where the coffee was or did she need to make some? Her co-worker had such an attitude. We didn't say anything but just wanted our drinks. 20 minutes later, after we watched 2 other orders come and go (who came after us) we finally got our drinks. The black hot coffee was TERRIBLE! (See picture below) literally coffee grinds in a bag. I didn't even know she did that and ended up with coffee grinds in my first sip. The coffee bag was placed under the cap where you naturally would poke your straw through. So I poked my straw through the bag. The whole experience was just terrible. For such a cute/beautiful and quint decorated tea shop, today seemed a bit off. Just don't get the black coffee and if it's a chill day and you don't mind waiting then check out this place. They literally had 5 customers in 20 minutes. It was not busy.

Nice cozy/ study atmosphere. Teas are made from " fresh tea" leaves. There is plenty of tables and sofas inside and out to sit, relax, and study. Will recommend to students, travelers, and bobaholics.
