Edit to add: Came back to give another chance and stood waiting several minutes before being waited on. No greet, nothing. Cashier that came up eventually was very quiet and rude. Didn’t even give me my drink cup and I stood there waiting again while she walked past me so I just got my own cup.Spent about 10-15 minutes waiting on our order to end up just getting a refund. A customer comes in after us and gets their food immediately while we still were waiting. 4 employees, one being management is just standing around talking and laughing as if we weren’t the only customer in there before the 2nd one came in. The place is dead and we still had to get a refund for waiting too long. I was gonna let it side but when the people after us got their food immediately, that really pissed me off.

Ordered four breakfast burritos $20, received 1.50 burritos. I was the only customer there and still had to pull forward and wait.

Candice was the most hateful person ever. Me and Bobby cox go way back in Odessa. I don't know if Lloyd runs this pathetic store or Gary. All three of these high school kids need to go. Place was empty and I know why. December 14, 2023 @7:00pm. She almost called me a liar over her forgetting my cheese dip. I'm a senior citizen and not street scum like she might have dealt with. I'm in hospital business and I dress well. She is just a hostile person waiting the front counter. And the place was filthy.

Worse freaking taco villa EVER!!!!! NOTHING BUT FAT, NO MEAT. Its cold as ice, went back in to have them heat it, they blame it on vegetables only to have them take them out and i get left with a burrito filled with sauce(red) and peices of fat. And the damn tacos are 9 bucks. Never again. Thanks for stealing from me.

One of our regular places to eat until tonight. We ordered a couple beef burritos, a combo nacho, and a cheese quesadilla. Service was normal, but when we got home to eat, there was mold on my wife’s burrito and part of the plastic packaging the meat comes in in mine. Now the package part I’m not worried about, had it happen in a few different places… high throughput, things happen. But the mold is a concern, big concern. There wasn’t a lot, but with mold you only see a small portion with the rest being hidden. Being the science guy I am, I wasn’t convinced, but stuck the piece under a microscope, and sure enough, embedded in the pores of the tortilla. Tried to call and talk to them about it, and the shift manager tried hard to make it right, she did fine. The GM though instructed her to not do anything unless we drove back up and proved it beyond a doubt. Will never be eating there again. Microscope view of the mold below.

First time to try, not from here. Super yummy food, but paid for three burritos I did not get. Didn't go back because I was taking dinner to the hospital for my husband and I and it's super inconvenient to have to go back and forth to the parking garage, plus visiting shuts down for two hours and I wouldn't have made it.

Worst location in Lubbock. They’ve only gotten my order right 10% of the time. I would rather drive a few miles to one of the other locations.

So I am out driving making a few ? $ . I decide to stop to grab a quick bite to eat. There are 2 employees visible, one a mgr. & the other one was crew. So the manager walks by and says “give me a minute!” with a scowl on her face. So I am just looking at the menu to see what I would like to order. She then approaches the register and with the same scowl says “dine or take out?” Name? Etc. I place my order with the manager then another guest comes in behind me. The manager quickly calls the crew member over to help the gentleman behind me. My transaction was not even completed when she heads to back. The crew graciously finishes my transaction and hands me my drink cup. I proceed over to the fountain station, fill my cup with ice and select my beverage of choice. And next thing I know I am covered in Dr Pepper and Carbonated Water. They had not yet put the spouts on the machine. The Manager calls out for my order is ready. I tell her what happened holding my shirt out . She quickly turned to the crew member and asked “Did you not put those on?” She replied “Yes, I was in the middle of doing so when called away!” The manager then replied “she’s doing it!” & turned and walked away. No “I am Sorry!” , No “Are you ok?” Not a word of apology. This may sound trivial. But I am so tired of people that are rude , that don’t like their jobs. People wanna make 15$ + an hour to work . Then earn it! It ridiculous.Just for the record the food wasn’t great with .

I had a fantastic dining experience at Taco Villa! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the marinated chicken bowl with rice, beans, and guacamole. It was flavorful and satisfying. The best part? It's super affordable, which makes it a great value. The friendly service added to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining environment.I also loved their salsa bar, featuring fresh jalapeños and cilantro, along with two types of salsa. It added an extra layer of flavor to our meal. And if you're looking for drinks, they have a variety of frozen margaritas and Cerveza to choose from. Overall, Taco Villa is a must-visit for delicious, affordable Mexican cuisine with a side of friendly service in a clean and inviting atmosphere.
