I can't make brisket like that!!! You're in for a treat if you eat at The Shack. My brisket was juicy, moist and seasoned perfectly. After eating the huge pile of meat, I tried my two sides beans, and coleslaw. The beans had chunks of brisket and just the right amount of spice. The coleslaw was fresh, and crunchy with the perfect flavor. If you're the kind of person that appreciates authentic local BBQ joints look no further.

We had moist brisket, pulled pork, and spicy jalepeno sausage. Everything delivered on flavor. Great bark on brisket and pulled pork. Snappy sausage.

They have such good bbq here. I went out there today and they had something new I’ve never tried before. It is so good. It’s a green chili pork Caldo. I think anytime that I might be feeling bad or under the weather I’m gonna go out there and get some of that. It is total comfort food. I added a picture of it. Go get some. It is so good.All of that being said, all of their barbecue is always really good.

Incredible brisket. Best I've ever had. No kidding! Delicious Mac 'n Cheese. Sweet Tea rival Chicken Express. Cole slaw was ok. I like mine with less vinegar. Sweet sauce was really good, with just a little kick. Best brisket BBQ I've had in Lubbock.
I ordered the chopped brisket and also the grilled chicken, definitely the best barbecue I’ve had in this town! The staff is also very friendly and the food comes out very quick. This place is also B.Y.O.B. which is even better! The food is always cooked to perfection and the sides are delicious. My girlfriend loved the Mac and cheese that they had and I enjoyed the loaded potato salad. They have a large selection of barbecue. This spot is definitely a go-to for barbecue!
Great BBQ and extremely friendly service. We ordered the 3 meat plate and it was more food than my wife and I could eat. Really good brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Collards and pintos were delicious as well. Great spot!
Absolutely fantastic Pork Ribs AND excellent customer service @ the Shack BBQ! They made it so easy to stay on our Carnivore diet here! Highly recommend!! We'll definitely be back!
