Decor is a little too Texan, but service, quality of food and value are always great. The wedge salad as part of your meal is a highlight. Steaks are always good. Go, you will enjoy it!

We ordered an appetizer and our main course arrived but never our appetizer. We asked the lady who brought our food to please let our waitress know. Our waitress never was told that we had not received our appetizer. Huge breakdown in communication the whole meal.

The service was friendly and attentive and the food was perfectly cooked, prepared, and presented . We had the perfect meal at Triple J Chophouse and we'll definitely keep coming back ?

Reserved a table for valentine's day. The bread and appetizer lead to high expectations. What was brought out for an entree plus sides was beyond disappointing. I ordered a Jumbo Joey plus the 4 cheese mac n cheese and parmesan crusted spinach. Worst steak i've ever had in lubbock. It was basically a slightly seared piece of beef. Absolutely zero flavor. Even trying to add salt and pepper did nothing for this travesty. The mac n cheese AND the spinach were swimming in liquid. This place was recommended as the 3rd place in lubbock to get a steak and i am utterly appalled. I asked for the check and a to go box to take it home and fix your blunders so i didn't waste the money i paid to eat at this horrid establishment. I will NOT come here again and advise ANYONE to NOT get a steak here. Go to outback, bubba's, longhorn, ANYWHERE but here!

My wife and I booked this place to celebrate our Valentine's Day Dinner. Checking in was not a bad experience and Tish was kind and friendly. Once we were seated, however, we had a whole different experience. The bench along the wall was disgusting. It had crumbs, dust, and was a bit greasy. I had to wipe it down with my napkin before I even sat down. There was a couple that sat behind us which a lot of the wait/bus staff seemed to know. There was one employee in particular that frequented their table and knelt down in the floor talking with them for several minutes at a time. It seemed like each time he did so, other employees would have to walk around him to get by. In doing so, they would often bump into my wife. Very annoying to say the least. The food was subpar at best. Not disgusting, but nothing special either. The drinks were the best thing - we had an old fashioned and a strawberry daiquiri. The wontons on the salad should not belong there. The salad is cold and once you add a dressing, doesn't go well with wontons. Wontons are fried and the cold grease isn't pleasant when consuming. I got the "Don't Call Me Shrimp". Nothing special. Seasoning was very little, and the pasta was overcooked a bit. My wife had the Cedar Planked Salmon and said it wasn't too bad...code for not too good either. Our waiter also wasn't necessarily the best. He frequented the table right beside us, and made sure drinks were flowing for them, but didn't stop near as much to check in with us. On our way out, the couple twenty paces in front of us was showered with "thank you" and "happy valentine's day" and "good night". No one said a word to us on our way out. Not that great of a Valentine's Day Experience at all.

The music should not be like a concert where the singer outperforms the diners. It was so loud that people trying to talk were actually screaming at each other. Music should provide an ambience, a vibe. It is not the performers personal concert venue. We were there a few days ago and heard Joy Harris. She knows how to balance the restaurant. I will only recommend Triple J prior to 6:30 pm

Great food and great service. Our order was taken in a timely fashion and the food arrived as ordered. Portion size (Momma's Meatloaf and Pan-Seared Beef Tips) was HUGE! We ate half and brought half home (we had to leave room for the Praline Bread Pudding!). One of the best values for the money in the Lubbock area. Our waiter (Thanks, Bristol!) showed just the right amount of attention, not disturbing our meal, but making sure we had what we needed. We will be back.
