Great filipino food and pastries. You may have to try them out first before you get hooked on the taste. It's has different taste. Enjoy.

We came here and ordered take out for dinner around 5:30 on 2/15. We were warmly welcomed, and when we informed them that we had never been there, they gave us a very thorough explanation of the entire menu. Everyone was very kind and helpful! We ordered the chicken inasal, the pork sisig, the pork liempo, and the halo halo. And when we went to leave, someone ran out and gave us a free kabob to try as well! The kabob was sweet and juicy and tender. The liempo was quite spicy with lots of raw onions and chewy bits here and there. I loved it, but would not recommend it to anyone who struggles with food textures. The chicken was out of this world smokey deliciousness. It was beautifully cooked and juicy with great flavor throughout the meat. Simply wonderful. The sisig was juicy and slightly sweet with grilled flavors as well. It was tender and very addictive. Then we finished off the meal with the halo halo. The purple ice cream and the flan on top were absolutely scrumptious. The chocolate straw and crunchy cereal on top brought an added dimension of texture. The shaved coconut ice was delicately sweet and flavorful. Then the bottom became syrupy with what seemed like fruit cocktail with white beans. I really liked the halo halo as a whole, but the beans threw me off. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and had a good time!

The owner is nice and friendly but the girl who is serving never smile. She seem aloof. She doesn't provide good customer service. The food is okey. We shouldn't give fifteen percent tip.

The food lacked any spice whatsoever, not even pepper. Every dish was either plain boiled in water, or glazed with sugary syrup. It is an absolute misrepresentation of Philipino food.

We highly recommend this restaurant for it's incredible authentic Filipino cuisine. Major emphasis on cuisine. Expect to be greeted smiles and service that is welcoming and warm. The colorful display of Filipino pastries are nostalgic. The restaurant is very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The dinner menu changes daily which makes dining in or taking out a no brainer. But also a great opportunity to try a variety of Filipino dishes. For anyone who is craving pansit and/or springs rolls- it's the real deal here. Our order was served fresh and plated with intention. I definitely recommend trying the desserts! Don't skip this part. The purple ube cupcakes are flavorful and NTS (not too sweet). That's just the tip of the iceberg, or halo halo. If you're looking to try Filipino desserts, this is the place.Lubbock now has a restaurant that truly represents Filipino cuisine. So now you can finally enjoy pansit you've been craving since that last potluck, but I can bet it'll be even better here.
