“Lalo's Mexican Grill is a colorful and spacious restaurant located in downtown Madisonville. It includes several dining spaces and a bar, and has a full menu of items. The chicken fajitas were delicious and the serving size was ample. The servers were attentive and helpful. The guacamole appetizer is quite large and includes fried thick chips. The complimentary chips and salsa were fantastic. Prices were very reasonable and the food arrived quickly.Parking: Street parking is available in the front or in a lot behind the building.”

“We came for breakfast during our roadtrip. This place is amazing! The door is 100years old! Food is delicious, it is carefully made and they pay attention to details. Pancakes and buscuits were buttery soft and tasty. Pancakes are also huge, and yet not heavy. Bacon is crispy, potatoes are diced very small achieving a perfect fry. We loved this place, it being old adds so much character. I did not expect this when I first arrived, very pleasantly surprised!”

“In town for a band competition and before it started my wife and I headed to town to find some food. This was what she found on Apple Maps and this place came up for places to eat nearby. It wasn't even list on Yelp (until now!). A little hole in the wall is always the best place!! About 25-30 seats inside. They do take CASH ONLY. They also have a restroom. It's past the front counter and the light switch is outside the door. Very friendly ladies and great food. I ordered a couple of tacos (bacon egg and cheese & chorizo egg and cheese). My wife ordered a beef fajita quesadilla plate with rice and beans. All the food was very fresh and tasty. The meal came with some fresh and HOT corn tortillas. I would highly recommend this restaurant if stopping in town.”

“Randomly stopped by on road trip to Dallas. We were surprised to find a Vietnamese restaurant in Madisonville. Coming from Houston, I had low expectations, but they were legit. The banh mi bread was light and perfectly crispy. The pho was perfectly seasoned. Super nice and friendly staff. The food did take a little time, but everything was really fresh. And their Viet iced coffee was spot on. Great pit stop for lunch.”

“The service was absolutely amazing! The manager was very Hands-On and brought us our food. And she was super polite. This restaurant was also very accommodating for my service animal. I just really appreciate them letting us just unwind and rest on our way back to San Antonio. What wonderful people they have working there! Sure love those rallies french fries. “Dropped by while driving through, and we absolutely loved the home-cooked tasting food (even forgot to take pictures) and hospitality. Our waitress was very accommodating and helped us with several suggestions. The restaurant was very well kept, and the restrooms were very clean. The atmosphere was very soothing with country music playing in the background.”

“We hosted an event the weekend of April 15th. We ordered approx 50 foot long sandwiches. We arrived a few minutes early to pick them up and everything was freshly prepared, boxed up and ready for us. They provided plenty of veggies and condiments. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly and even helped us get it all loaded in the car. Everything was marked because there were different options. We really appreciate their willingness to prepare such a large order and on time!! Great job!!”
