Ordered 6 jalapeño kolaches only to find out later that they only gave us 5. I know, with things the way that things are today, I should have checked. Buyer beware of getting ripped off at this donut shop.
This is the worst Shipley I have been to.the donuts were old and actually not edibleI have tried to stop there when I pass by and have never to date ever got a fresh donut let alone a hot one have no idea how they stay in business do your self a favor drive right on by or you can get a far better snack across the street at Bucees

An especially terrific Shipley donuts. The donuts are top-notch, even fresher and more colorful than I’d expect to find at an average Shipley. Stellar sausage, cheese and jalapeño kolaches. The owners and staff are very polite and helpful and pleasant. This might be my favorite Shipley I’ve been to, and I’ve been to plenty. If you’re nearby, like donuts, this is definitely a winner!Parking: Can’t imagine this parking lot getting too full or preventing me from getting Shipley.

Always wonderful!!! Love the Chocolate filled, Plain glazed and Cinnamon twist. I try to stop every time I pass one and get some. My favorite place for donuts since I was young. I don't really care for any other places. It was hard at first going in and not ordering Mom's Apple ?? Fritters. Those were her favorites, that's what I always got her. She became I'll and I lost her in October. Maybe next time I will get one and enjoy it for her, in memory of my Mom. ❤️?????❤️
We were driving Dallas to Houston and just stopped for coffee. And was very positive stop! Donuts were extremely delicious! Not too big but very tasty! One of the best donuts I've eaten! Definitely a place to visit!

This Shipleys in Madisonville is by far my favorite! It is unlike any other Shipleys. Donuts are soft and sweetly glazed. The texture is on point with perfect pastry. Kolaches breading is very light and buttery becomes mouth watering when bitten into it and your mouth feels that cheesy burst. ? Always on our way up we try to stop here and get a box full of everything.This last trip we went to Frisco coming from Katy. Last 4 trips this year we have stopped by lol.We tried catching them on the way home, but had closed. Until next time...
