Home town Cafe with great food and service. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive. Daily specials available.

We usually get the basic burger with fries. It's a 1/2 pounder and big enough to share. Old fashioned burger on a toasted bun cooked right. Fries could have been a little crisper but really no complaints.

Best pork bowl I ever had. I usually eat at the ceviche Ria next to this place and that was closed so I had to try their pork bowl and it was delicious. I loved it and I will be back soon.

My wife and I dropped by this great new place off of 1488. It had a very “Austin-like” vibe with food truck style stations built out in some very colorful shipping containers. All of it surrounds a very clean deck with covered tables with hanging lights, including TVs, outdoor seating, yard games for the family, clean restrooms, and friendly management. The food was very good as well. Great place to chill on a low key date or take the kids for an enjoyable evening dinner.

Why 4 stars? Because this is another great addition to the Deck. --- --- ---I've come to the Deck twice now, and both times, I ordered supplementary items from 2 Mary's, but not the main part of my meal. With that being said, I've had a good experience both times. The first visit, I ordered some chicken nuggets for my son. I'm pretty sure these were just frozen nuggets you buy from the store, but no matter, I appreciated them having an option for kids and he ate every bite of it.On my second trip, I ordered a strawberry ice cream waffle and a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was excellent. I sipped it up dangerously fast, lactose-intolerance be damned! I couldn't help it - it was so delicious. The ice cream waffle was enjoyable, but the one critique is that I wish the waffle had been nice and hot. I understand that a hot waffle would have led to the ice cream melting at an alarming rate, but it would have been worth it. Instead the waffle, while still tasty, lacked that fresh-off-the-skillet feeling. Was it still good? It was. Was it topped with all kinds of fun things? Indeed. Would I order it again? Yes, but I would try the boba first. But more importantly, I need to try a banh mi!

The pork vermicelli bowl was light and tasty, vermicelli was cooked perfectly the pork flavorful, the chicken egg rolls were light, flaky, and the sauce tasty. I had the Bobba Thai tea (orange one) and the new tea (coffee looking one) both good and filled with a lot of bobba.

I like to try unique one of a kind places like this. I read about the cafe and went today. Waited several minutes and a waitress came and ask me what I wanted. I asked for a menu. Said she just assumed I wanted one of the lunch menu. Took my drink order. Another wait til she brought menu and water. Then I waited for someone to take my order. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order. More customers came in and were waited on. No one ever came back to my table. I had to leave. Didn’t have enough time to eat anywhere else before my appointment. So disappointed.

This is the place for real people, its like walking back into Mom's Kitchen during a rough day in the fields. Authentic people, great food and portions. The coffee is absolutely fantastic and the service is outstanding. When I need human contact, a friendly smile and something to warm me inside body and soul I go to this Oasis in a world gone mad. Thanks Kitty and Staff.
