Ordered fries, kept telling us they’d be out, nothing came. 30 minutes later no fries. Paid and left. Bad service. Wreaks of smoke.

Former smoker here. Walked in on a weekday mid afternoon passing through town for food and beer. Empty and quiet, no sign of anyone around. The old smoke stench was a big turnoff. Took my money and appetite next door at 242.

Everytime I go, I ended up at 242pub! I try to go, but always something keeps me out. Last time was a pool tournament. I love shooting pool, but I wouldn't kick out business when the pool tournament is empty. ?.

My husband and I had wanted to try Casey's and finally stopped in...and immediately left. It was so smoky and we knew my husband just simply could not handle it because of his asthma. We were a bit taken aback because we assumed smoking was not allowed in eating establishments. We moved here a year ago from Ohio where this is prohibited, so it took us by surprise. Sorry we cannot comment on the food or service, but if you don't care for a smoky atmosphere, this is not the place for you.

It is what it is a pub. Loud pool players in some kind of competition. Bartender was very efficient and friendly.

Great atmosphere! Friendly staff and patrons!! Pool tournaments are so much fun!! Anyone can play on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday without being a league member. Scotch doubles Sunday and Tuesday. Individuals and a Calcutta on Mondays. Great bar food, too!!
