“Okay - I think the general rules need to be established, as well as acknowledgment of the fact that we were there after church on Sunday. Deacon Baldy's, by my best estimate, is the bar area itself. The tenders kept the lines moving, and there was typically a line. I wish I'd counted the beers advertised; there must've been close to 50, and though I'm a simple, Bud Light kind of beer drinker, it was a great view! So, now the food...There were 5 different trailers there, and 4 were open. Remember, it was a Sunday. Trailer 1 was BBQ, "BBQ Godfather" I think - It was closed. That kind of hurt my heart. Number 2 was an Asian place that I don't recall the name of, but it looked like mostly messy food, for a messy eater such as me - I've got menu pics for clarification. Number 3 was a crawfish truck - my neices & family seemed to like them, but sadly, I did not partake. Number 4 trailer was Uncle Tony's Burgers - my wife and MiL had their food and were raving about it. Number 5 was my pick - "Raise Pizza & Eats" and where I got my pizza from. Simple order done extremely well - as much Peperoni as they felt would work, followed by enough cheese to make it nearly impossible to pull apart. They succeeded! The crust was a little light, but expected with the amount of toppings. All in all, I think it would be a solid 9 out of 10, IMO.“

Restaurant is typically busy, so you definitely should book a reservation. No food was taken home, because it was all eaten! Fed two people for 60 dollars and the food is top notch.“

“Great tacos, and very nice texture on the tortillas. The cheese was I think Oaxacan instead of usual orange cheddar, which was good. Refried beans were especially good.The place itself is very pleasant also, gets a nice breeze. Recommend this place to anyone in this area“

“Hubby & I went today around 1pm. Place was decently busy and had a great atmosphere. We ordered crawfish; which were FANTASTIC! My only complaint would be the service. Our ticket said the servers name was Amanda. Right from the get go she seemed unhappy to be there. We told her how many pounds we’d like and she started to walk off. I stopped her and asked if she’d please add corn/potatoes/butter/spice to the order in which she replied “it comes with it” and continued walking off. About halfway through she came to ask if we needed anything - Hubs ordered another beverage and we told her we’d finish our crawfish to see if we wanted some additional lbs. She stopped by again after we’d finished and we told her we didn’t need anything else “at the moment”. Next thing she stops by with the check and we never see her again (despite hanging out for another 20 minutes so we could finish our drinks). We considered ordering wings after a while but seeing as she never came by again we decided it wasn’t worth it. I’ll come back to Tailgators to get their crawfish but if I’m seated with her again I’ll absolutely be asking to move to a different section.“

“What a little gem! We ordered a beef pho and an appetizer sampler. Pho was good but didn't live up to the tasty restaurant title. Spring rolls, Vietnamese egg rolls, and other appetizers were fresh and delicious! The mango sticky rice was a super yummy treat! The environment was clean, and vibe is super chill. We'll definitely be back!“

“We went as part of a group with our football team total of 20. It was my first time going to this place everything was overall great. I was not a fan of the California Roll. I prefer HEBs. However, another parent shared their New York roll and it was amazing. My child got ramen and it was delicious. I also ordered the Stuffed Jalapeño and its was delicious although it says its fried the Jalapeño was raw and still very crunchy. The server was a little aggressive/rude when i asked about portion size on the calamari and said "if you don't know don't get it."“

“I always enjoy my visits to Mikado. I love their tasty food. These dishes always have a load of flavor and great presentation. Attention and service is always high quality just like the ingredients used in their dishes. I absolutely love their hibachi dinners and their miso soups. We have been coming to Mikado for the last 8 years and it is always a comfortable place to have a peaceful and delicious meal.“

“Maybe we're boring people, or maybe we just know a good thing when we find it. Every time we have a date night we choose Umami. I love this place, I love Eddie and his family, I love that atmosphere and the food and the early menu! My husband and I will occasionally contemplate trying another place, and then just forget it and go to Umami because we love it so much. Our son and daughter have chosen to have their birthday dinners here because of how much we rave about this place. It's a gem!“

The brisket was on the greasy end and had no flavor on its own (I prefer not having to drench my BBQ in sauce), but the ribs were excellent and we really appreciated the more unique items on the menu. The buttery Burnt Ends and the (pepper-jelly glazed?!) stuffed Texas Torpedo are definitely some reasons to come back! The prices were quite steep but comparable to any decent BBQ spot with the economy these days lol ($50 for a somewhat filling lunch for 2 people)...
