Ordered a cookie cake online 5 days in advance. Arrived to pick it up and “no one made the cake”. The decorator had “gone home for the day”. The options they gave me were full refund or a cake (still paying full price) ready tomorrow. Neither of those solved my problem of not having the cake when I needed it! Staff and manager (on the phone who I was not allowed to talk to) were all very rude and unapologetic. Ended up ordering from another local store not far from this one and it was done correctly. This will be the last time I order from this store.

Ordered a cookie cake X7 days prior to pick up, pick up was for 3 PM. Cake was not ready until 430 PM. Front desk staff was extremely rude and dismissive. Please use elsewhere for your cake needs.

My Team at smoothie king hit a major milestone in sales on Monday and I wanted to treat my team to a cake from great American cookie. Went to the Grand Prairie location and they messed up on my cake big time! Looked extremely off and they misspelled “Congratulations”. So I decided to get another cake from the Mansfield location and I am very pleased with the customer service and cake designs. I will continue to keep coming to this location ever time I need a cake . Shout out to Christina and her amazing team for helping me celebrate with my staff. 10/10

Since the DECORATOR has 10 minutes left to decorate the cake, I figured I should leave a review on the customer service! The lady on the phone said they could have it ready between 5pm and 6pm. We showed up at 5:50pm to see if it were ready and the girl was like "I still have 10 minutes they wrote 6 o'clock on the note" what a terrible attitude. Last time to use this location. I'll drive 10 minutes down the road to the other!

My wife went to pick up an M&M cookie cake today. She was handed the box and was ready to walk out, but instead she opened the box. The cake was all smeared. When my wife asked the girl at the counter, all she said was “I guess we had to re do it” The manager walked in from outside and just said refund it. Well we ordered the cake and we wanted it remade. The manager said we have new people. No apology, no offer of anything. She then said it would take 3 hours and we said okay. Then the girl behind the counter told her it was an M&M cake to which the manager said they didn’t have enough dough for that. She asked if we wanted a choc chip cake and we did not. They refunded the cake and gave it to us, but never ONCE was there any sort of apology. They KNEW the cake was messed up and were ready for my wife to leave without saying anything! I want to speak to the owner about the horrible customer service. I run a restaurant and I would never treat any of my guests that way.

A worker named Layla was so nice to me when i walked in she was patient with my kid waited and even gave samples to him, until he decided what he wanted. She was so warm hearted and talked to my kid through out his whole order giving recommendations and even telling him what she gets with it! Amazing service Thank you Layla you were amazing definitely coming back! Ice cream was also really good.

The absolute worst...go anywhere else but here. Ordered a cookie cake for a birthday party (4 days in advance and prepaid). When I got there the girl said no one printed the order and it wasn't her fault and they didn't have the cookie cake. She said this happens all the time and walked away (girl had longer black hair with white ends) - except I paid and I had to call to the people in the back to see if they were going to make the cookie or refund my $50.00. Go ANYWHERE else. The staff was horrible and the customer service was horrible. RUN, don't walk, from this location. (Also noted that this location is a combo with Marble Slab and on the door said NO ICE CREAM AVAILABLE). At 1:15 pm the chairs were still on top of the table like they just opened or didn'twant anyone to sit. HORRIBLE store.

Tonight, I picked up my custom ordered ice cream cake from Marble Slab Creamery. I ordered medium sized vanilla cake with sweet cream and heath bar mix. When I picked it up everything looked great so I even tipped them as I payed and left. This store is about 20 minutes from my work and about 40 minutes from my home(country life). When I get home I put the cake in my deep freeze and eat my birthday dinner with my family. We pull out the cake which still looks amazing and we slice out four slices. Problem number one: I notice that the ice cream is one layer and I can barely see any candy between the ice cream layer and the cake layer. This is odd because the whole point of marble slab is they mix in the candy with your ice cream. I brush this off as just someone being in a rush. Problem number two: I take my first bite and thankfully I do not have a peanut allergy because I take a large bite of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. At first I don't say anything sometimes candy mixes happen and I think maybe a piece just fell in. NOPE. The entire cake is Reese's Peanut Butter cups. My husband and son are happy because it's their favorite but I happen to hate peanut butter in desserts. My husband says jokingly that this can be his cake and he'll get me one that I like later this week. At this point I'm frustrated and I decide to call because while I don't have a peanut allergy someone else might and I paid over $45 plus a tip, for a cake that I really don't like. Problem number three: I call and very politely explain the issue I had and at first the clerk was very understanding took my information and said she'd have her manager call me back either tomorrow or the day after. She calls back within the hour and I am impressed. Then the clerk tells me to bring in the cake tonight and her manager will review the cake and call me back in a few days. Remember how I said I live 40 minutes away, I inform the clerk of this and her response is, "if you live 40 minutes away why did you choose our establishment?" I inform her I live in the country and that this location is closest to my work. I also am frustrated because she expects me drive 40 minutes to drop off a cake that needs to be inspected. She then tells me this is a he said she said situation and that they need to look the cake over. I then ask to speak to a manager and she tells me she is the supervisor and her managers unavailable. I end the call with well thanks happy birthday to me. I understand that mistakes happen and I understand that people take advantage of businesses but seriously this is ridiculous. I will never visit a Marble Slab again.
