Breakfast tacos- only comes with 1 meat and cheese. You pay extra .50 for everything else- potatoes, cilantro, etc... bought 10 breakfast tacos and cost me $40. Hope these taste good for the price!

Main Street Tacos never disappoints. It has something for everyone. The street tacos & burritos are consistently delicious. For my vegetarians/low-carb eaters, I cannot emphasize how delicious the Alambre "El Vegetariano" ("The Vegetarian") is!! It's packed with flavor and very filling. The veggies are cactus, fire roasted poblano peppers, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions (sprinkled with the right amount of cheese). The cactus is cooked just right (every time!!!). It's my favorite. It's as authentic as it gets. TBH, I make pretty good homemade Mexican food but I can't seem to replicate the "El vegetariano" and I've tried, lol. If you're low-carb, then I recommend ordering it without tortillas. With it without, it's is on another level. You can add chicken but I like it without because the chicken is too filling for me. oh, and if you're into avocado, you can add a side of guacamole. Enjoy!!

Address doesn't match what's on yelp. Had to drive around to find it. Parking is non existent as well. Tacos are very bland and had zero zero seasoning. We ordered barbacoa which was mixed with egg, that's not what I ordered. We also ordered potato and egg and chorizo and egg. Will not be returning.

GOOD: Taste of the street tacos. (Chicken, carne asada)Selections and flavors of the salsas from the salsa bar. The tacos themselves were assembled nicely. Nice garnish -- good chop on the onion and cilantro mix, with a nice lime slice and a poblano pepper. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Our 8 tacos were served to us (4 patrons) via a single platter and one small plate, i.e., no individual plates given per dining guest. That is not acceptable. Irked me enough I didn't bother to ask for whatever plating options they might offer if you didn't feel like just crowding up to the slop trough and fending for yourself. Okay, I'm overreacting a tad, but, please... $16 paid for maybe $2 of ingredients and you can't afford to give us each a 6-inch paper plate without our asking for it? Sheesh. No lids were offered for the tiny plastic salsa-bar serving containers. This was per their "salsa is NOT to go' policy. Huh? Oh, I see... I might go crazy-greedy and take home 2 or even 3 ounces of salsa with any leftovers we might have. (My wife almost always orders enough to have leftovers for a snack later on. Thus leftovers are not unusual.) So, yeah, good cost-cutting catch, management... Salsa stays on the premises! I'm sure this was a result of some previous louts abusing the unregulated availability of salsa. But you could cut costs via just offering people a limited number of containers, e.g., like McDs asking you how many creams and sugars you want with your coffee. Sheesh, Part 2.BAD: Safety hazard of a big water spill on the floor that was left unattended for 20-30 minutes. Literally covered the aisle and floor such that wet floor was not avoidable while navigating toward the rear entrance. No dawdling; clean up the spill. Now. SUMMARY: Food's worth a second visit. The value, the amenities, and, finally, the attention to the condition of the dining area do not recommend a second visit. Probably Thumbs Down overall.

This place is super cute and has delicious tacos, they are pretty small but so tasty. Most places in this area of Texas are not authentic but this place is! I will definitely be coming back.

The food is good, the service was average, and the atmosphere isn't very appealing in my opinion.

Good first visit with a to go order. Grilled chicken street tacos - served on two corn tortillas, good portion of delicious meat. Served with cilantro, onions & limes. Grilled chicken quesadilla- simply delicious with grilled chicken, melty cheese & a homemade tortilla that seemed to be a corn & flour mix (so good)! Served with a small bit of shredded lettuce, a couple slices of tomato & sour cream. (My quesadilla looked nothing like the picture from 2 years ago (standard tex mex quesadilla on flour tortilla) but was more authentic and delicious!) They have a salsa bar if you're dining in with about 5 salsa choices. For our to go order, she asked if we wanted mild, medium or hot. I said medium - it was a salsa verde, good flavor but more mild that medium to my palate for this batch. I have no idea why we didn't order sides to try but we will definitely be going back. It's very small inside but there are some tables for dining. There are a couple tables out front & back.

Like most posts for this place- doesn't look like anything from the outside but the food was great- Tortuga "Teacher" and the Carne Asada tacos were on point. Water that down with some Horchata and bam- freakin awesome meal! Was really light on the wallet too!
