The food is delicious! A bit pricey. We had street tacos, quesadillas (1 veggie, 1 beef) and they were delicious; the chips and white Queso were AMAZING. Had to take points off because the elotes was NOT grilled corn ? and was therefore not worth the high cost. Fun outdoor eating area and cozy indoor booths offer great seating options and decor was fun! I will be back, but I will bring my own drink and order differently.Vegetarian options: Elotes and quesadilla were vegetarian, I added in grilled calabacitas (squash and tomatoes) which was super yummy!

The Bistec (Steak tacos) were advertised as made with steak, but when I got them they were actually made with ground beef. This was disappointing, as I was expecting the higher quality of meat. It felt like false advertising, especially since I paid more for it.Also the ladies helping me where rude and seemed disappointed when I asked questions about where the salsa was .

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I was excited about the micheladas. I was sadly disappointed. The food was bland. The cheese in the quesadilla wasn't completely melted. I was told their beans all had pork lard. I would probably return only for beer and the backyard atmosphere.

I personally like the farmer's market location. But today, I was in Mansfield. Unfortunately, this location lacks supervision. The service was fine, and there was a very polite cashier there. The lady making the food was not putting the effort to make sure the food was done correctly. All the tortillas used for the tacos were cold. The pastor meat was bland and unseasoned, with no flavor at all. The corn in the cup had some pieces of corn still frozen in addition to the exaggerated amount of sour cream they put in. This venue looked clean, but we were expecting more with the food.

I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about this place and decided to still give a shot. 1. The chorizo and egg burrito was amazing. 2. My wife got a bistek taco and a brisket taco and they were both great. 3. The employee was friendly and even had recommendations on what to get. Maybe I came on a lucky day but I will for sure come back to this location in the future. Everything was reasonably priced in my opinion
We tried La Ventana for dinner last night with high hopes. Unfortunately the food did not match the ambiance and decor in quality. Salsa tasted more like tomato soup than salsa. I ordered a brisket burrito and my wife had steak tacos. All was swimming in grease and had a bland flavor. Halfway through the meal the odor of garbage filled the small dining room and ended our evening early at La Ventana. I really wanted to like this place but cannot recommend unless changes are made. Seems the word was already out because we only saw two other customers in our time there. Service was just fine as our order was taken and food delivered quickly.

My husband and I placed an online order. I went to pick up the food. Nearly 30 tacos and 2 orders of chips and queso. First they only gave me one bag with tacos and I had to ask for the second bag. Then when we got home and I opened everything the chips and queso were missing. I’ve been trying to call for the last three days to get a refund on it but the phone just rings.

This place has such a great ambience. The art on the walls is amazing. The tacos were just ok. Tacos ordered were the Bestek, Pastor, Barbacoa. The Barbacoa being the very best of them. Service was right to the point.
