Our first time ever Axe throwing and we learned a lot from Johnnie who wad out assigned instructor. He had several games for our group to play that taught us team work, trained us in aiming, home in our unnatural throwing skill, made the competitive side come out, and was so great we want to come back even though we stay in Kingwood, TX.The establishment is very clean and organized.Several different table games to play for free that I have never played before.The owner takes pride in his place of business as well as making sure you feel safe and like everyone is family there.Many drinks to choose from as well as variety of food trucks that come by.Parking: Lots of parking in the front as long as people park right.Kid-friendliness: Arcade games are free as well as cornhole and pool table.Everyone there is so kind to kids of all ages.

I had an incredible time at Texas Axe & Ale! The axe throwing experience was an absolute blast. Our coach was phenomenal - not only was he knowledgeable and skilled, but he also had a great sense of humor and made us feel at ease. He patiently taught us the proper techniques and gave us personalized tips to improve our throwing. By the end of the session, we felt like axe-throwing pros!The atmosphere at Texas Axe & Ale was fantastic. The venue was clean, well-maintained, and had a fun, laid-back vibe. It was the perfect place to hang out with friends and enjoy some friendly competition.After working up an appetite from all the axe throwing, we were thrilled to discover the Food Coma food truck on-site. The menu was mouth-watering, and the food exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend trying their signature fried chicken sandwich. I had the Chihuahua spice level #1. It was absolutely delicious and left me in a blissful "food coma." The food truck staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that we were served promptly and with a smile.Overall, Texas Axe & Ale is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a unique and entertaining experience. The combination of axe throwing, great coaching, and a fantastic food truck made for an unforgettable outing. I can't wait to gather my friends and head back for another round of axe throwing and delicious eats!

My husband took the family here for my b day. It was a fun surprise. The video games are free and the kids that were too young to throw kept themselves busy. The instructor showed us what to do and let us play a game or told us what was what score wise and we tried to out throw each other. I loved how laid back it was and how kid friendly it is. Will be back for sure :)

Outstanding boards where your axe always sticks. I've been to other axe throwing places and the wood is so darn hard that the axe just falls off even after it goes in the wood. Also, the folks are so nice and many different beers to drink. Definitely a hidden gem.
