The Texas Tea Room II is one of my favorite places in Marshall! More people need to know about this hidden gem in the heart of downtown. I love the the Tennessee Chicken Salad on nut bread. The staff is so kind and the restaurant is clean and very cute. They even have a ETBU student discount. Make your way over to the Tea Room for a wonderful lunch.Parking: Plenty of parking

I came by Texas Tea Room II for lunch when I was swinging through Marshall for a day and got the Chipotle Steak Salad, their specialty tea, and a piece of pie. Thoroughly enjoyed it all! Between the great food and the friendly staff, it made me regret that I was only in town for the day. Looking forward to trying some other things on the menu the next time I get the opportunity to stop by.

Maybe I was expecting too much, I wanted to like it but it wasn't for me. The people were so nice and I don't like giving negative reviews but I must be honest

Love this place. Extremely clean and the service is great! Love the Onion Rings. They are the best I've ever had. Wonderful Chicken Salad. This is my "go to " place in Marshall.

Ate there for the first time a few days ago. Food was great and the sweet potato fries are fabulous. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was very tasty, fresh on a nice bun. My friend had a rueben sandwich which she said was also delcious. Ordered a hamburger to go for her son and they raved about it. We will be back. The restaurant is very clean, easy parking right close to the door. Everyone should try this place ! You won't be sorry ! Please support new local restaurants in Marshall !!

We were on our way home to the Houston area & stopped for lunch. We started with zucchini fritters. They were crispy & a good way to start our meal. My husband had the spaghetti & I had the 2 scoops of.chicken salad over lettuce. The chicken salad was good, but the lemon vinaigrette dressing was a bit greasy-tasting. There wasn't much lettuce for my salad, though. My husband said that his spaghetti was good & had a slight smoky taste. The decor& tables were cute & homey. We seek out local places to eat when traveling & enjoyed our stop here.

Husband and I stopped in for Sunday lunch. Had a daily lunch special menu and a few other items to choose from. I ordered the Chicken Stuffing with MP’s & G and GB’s. Husband ordered the Meatloaf. Food was out quick and was delicious!

Had the Chicken Scallopinni. Very good flavor on the pasta. However the chicken was a tad over cooked and dry and there were way too many capers(and I love capers). All I would suggest is cook the chicken to order and go lighter on the capers. Maybe a little more mushroom instead. Over all we had a great experience. I too work in the industry and like the feedback. I hope this helps and use this as constructive criticism and not as a negative comment. Thanks for what you do and we will be back.

New cozy place decorated with local artists works on the walls. Clean, fresh atmosphere with attentive staff and varied selection of entrées. We opted for the day's special of fish and chips. The plates were delivered quickly as the place was not busy. The portions a bit on the small side, the fish was four thin pieces, a handful of fries partnered with two hush puppies complimented by a homemade tarter sauce at $11.50. We were unable to try the appetizer we wanted as they were out of brie and croissants. I would've liked to make this a five star and hopefully with the next visit we can.

We ate here a couple weeks ago. We have tried the original, I guess, in Carthage a few years back. I know we have eaten at this location as different restaurants at least 3 times. We took a friend, "K", who will join our team. We had a good lunch and we will go back. She and I had the Shrimp & Grits....pricey and not filling and not much shrimp but tasted fine. "J" got the special of the day, Chicken Fried Steak, and with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and fat, flat green beans. Looked great and cost much less and he said it was good. Service was very friendly. Interior was similar to previous businesses there. It was a good lunch.

This place has a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. For an appetizers I suggest the egg rolls and the fried pickles. I got the chicken Ceasar wrap which was delicious. Also our sever Rachel was super nice, very knowledgeable about the menu and she made sure we stayed with refills and just had all around good service and personality.
