Thought it was the sour cream ended up realizing it was the meat. Spent 30 dollars on the bakery and none of it was up to par. All of it was obviously sitting there for a while. Ordered a large cream corn and basically got a can of corn. It was watery and had zero flavor there were also huge pieces of brisket fat and at the bottom of the container was a lump of it. Barf. If I could put a zero I would. Don’t waste your money.

My husband ordered a sliced brisket sandwich (marbled side) at the window of the downtown location. When he got home and opened it, it had a 1/2" slab of white fat and a little bit of meat. He didn't take it back because we live too far away. He was very disappointed. The sandwiches had always been good in the past.

The brisket is always good. Love their sausage and braised cabbage. Ribs were good but were a little dry. Creamed corn and bbq sauce were good but a little watery. Still worth the stop, though.

This is not true Texas smoked BBQ. The brisket was so dry it was hard. It tasted like oven baked. The roll was the best thing.
