My salmon plate was great. However the Mediterranean plates my wife and mother in law had were sub par.

My wife and I were looking for a lighter meal and tried Greens and Lemons. It’s innorth McAllen by Sam’s and I wasn’t too excited for a healthy Mediterranean place. I’m glad to say I was wrong. The atmosphere is much nicer than I expected and would make for a great day date spot. The menu has a lot of thing I want to try and did not play heavily on what most places that add healthy in their title. We started with humus and fried cauliflower. Thr humans tasted homemade, well season and not to oily compared to a lot of other homemade humus I’ve tried. They recommend the cauliflower and it hit so good. Again not oily at all but plenty crispy. The cauliflower was firm not overcooked and mushy and it was dressed in buffalo sauce. Would definitely recommend. This was pair with a cucumber water and a hibiscus tea (Jamaica) both definitely made fresh and not too sweet how I like it. The cucumber water was so damn refreshing, I’d come back for just a cup of this. Our main dishes were a green fish ceviche and and the Godzilla pokebowl. The ceviche does have a strong like flavor but not overpowering. That’s because there’s small bits of green apple. I was so surprised how well the sweetness of the green apple cut the sourness of the lime. The fish was large chunk of cod that were still soft and not rubbery so it hadn’t sit in the lime to too long. One of the better ceviche’s I’ve had. I do wish I had saladitas but that’s just me.The poke bowl was solid. It was well dressed, and the different chunk of fish were fresh, not sushi fresh, but lent itself to the dish well. I didn’t have anything to complain about but nothing stood out in particular. Again solid like bowl and we ended it bringing it home cause like bowls always carry well, just nothing to write home about, or Facebook in this case.Overall still pleasantly surprised and there’s definitely more I want to try when we go back. I also didn’t feel bloated and sluggish afterward so that’s always a plus.Would recommend but may not be for everyone7.6/10What we orderedHumusFried CauliflowerGreen Fish CevicheGodzilla poke bowlWe spent $56

Greens and Lemons offers a pleasant dining experience. The staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is very modern and chill. However, it was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night at 7 pm. On the food front, most dishes were good, although my Greek bowl's lamb was a tad on the dry side. Nevertheless, the flavors were enjoyable. Overall, a solid choice for a meal.

It took a while to get service and the food. Maybe about 15 minutes before we could order and 35 min for the food. There was one big party that received their food when we got there and another table of 4. My food tasted spoiled, I got one of the chicken bowls. My husband got the falafel which tasted really good and fresh. My mom got the almond crusted chicken - which is almond FLOUR crusted and tastes like it's just heated in a microwave. Probably want go again

It was our first time here at the McAllen location. David was our server. He was very kind and welcoming. He recommended some delicious apple ginger shots. For dinner my husband had the chicken and waffles. I had the Cobb salad. Both dishes were delicious. The table comes with complimentary chips and hummus. The hummus has these, seems like pickled onions, which I don't usually like raw onions but these were tasty. Also, the cucumber lemonade was soooo good. Not overly sweetened, which we really loved. The restaurant has such a nice ambiance. Cute decor.

Service at a dine-in resturant is important to us. The servers at Greens & Lemons are really good and attentive to their customers without being overly involved. It was a near perfect experience for our first visit!

Food is very good but the three times I have been here, we get the worst service ever. The waitress has a horrible attitude and comes to the table no more than 2 times. Once to take the order and another just to drop off the food. We tried to flag her down several times and she kept ignoring us. I will stick to the Sharyland location from now on.

My first time here. It's not typically my "go to" place for breakfast/brunch. I went here with a group of colleagues for brunch. The place was very clean. The prices in the menu were somewhat steep for it being a simple brunch. However, it was very fresh tasting. All the ingredients used for my meal: nopales, black beans, and veggies tasted very fresh. I was very satisfied with my healthier version of the typical omelette. Their coffee was also flavorful, not weak or bland, (I drink my coffee black). The server tended to our needs in an expeditious and friendly manner, considering we were a large party. All in all, Great Healthy Brunch!
