The place was hot. They took an extra 10 mins to bring out my son's burger. The waitress did not come to give us a refill once. The restroom was dirty. There was dirty toliet paper on the floor.

Waited a long time for our food. We ordered simple burgers for 3 people. While other groups who were larger came in and got the meal before us. They kept telling us they're gonna get us our food. But never did until it was maybe an hour or hour and a half of waiting?? My brother was the one who was saying to wait. The food was slightly warm too. Don't go when there's a major event like comic Con or anything similar.

Food was amazing I ordered the smoke house double meat burger. It was good then I took a bite of that special sauce and it was amazing honestly I never knew this place was here. Definitely a hidden gem in McAllen convention center. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an old school diner type restaurant

This place is beloved by many families including my own. Despite the staff being very friendly and the music and atmosphere remaining classic. I will never step foot into this establishment again in the future.My family enjoyed a lovely time until I found that there was a juvenile cockroach in my drink which ruined my appetite considering I had drank most of it already. When she returned I asked my waitress to please exchange my drink because there was a bug in it.I expected a more concerned reaction to something so gross but to my surprise-no ;she was completely unfazed. When she returned with our plates my brother found two more cockroaches in the straw holder. Since all the cockroaches we found weren’t fully grown you can come to the conclusion that there must be fully grown cockroaches that bred the tiny ones that we found. We were compensated 10% off the final purchase.

My friends and I ordered 4 milkshakes and they all tasted like chemicals, 3 were chocolate and one was peanut butter they then proceeded to tell us that we were wrong and were being rude.

The worst experience i’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I used to love this place and always thought it was really nice and clean. Went last week and the whole restaurant smelled like a restroom. All the tables dirty. A cockroach on my booth and saw one climbing up the wall. The wait staff was friendly and allowed us to not pay the bill rightfully so but this place has gone down hill. Never coming here again. This place has roaches.

Asked for our burgers a certain way and they all came with a special sauce that we didn't like. They didn't tell us that that's the way they come. We did not enjoy our burgers as all. It's a nice environment and great music but the place was very hot. They really need to fix air-conditioning. It's hot enough already outside.

Super dirty from front door to table and small jukeboxes gross. No more oldie music. Loved when jukeboxes worked. Sat and just left after seeing this dirtiness.

Waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order which I don't blame him because ha had bigger tables to take care of. But the "Manager" was standing on the other side of the bar in front of our table talking to some other man, her boyfriend or son or whatever. But didn't even try helping the waiter or the cook at any point. Been here for over 30 minutes and hasn't moved from there a single time but once to get the guy that she's talking to a drink.
