There is now absolutely no other reason that my husband and I come here other than for Camille and Jaime at the bar top! We have had dinner here a few times and always enjoyed it, so we’ve come back every now and then, BUT now that we’ve met Camille and Jaime, I feel like we’ll definitely become regulars. Their ability to nail every single food and drink recommendation impresses us every time! I have not been let down a single time, so I can comfortably say their entire food and drink menu is mouthwatering. (I highly recommend their Passion Fruit Tamarindo drink, tastes exactly like the Mexican Rellerindo candy, perfection.) Furthermore, we can’t forget to mention their ability to swiftly jump into action when tackling a million drink orders all while still maintaining impecable customer service. Just seeing how they do it all while making it seem so effortless makes me realize that their service skills are some of the best I’ve witnessed in the valley. We definitely like to eat out on the weekends so we’ve had many experiences in the RGV, but their lively attitudes make our experience at Mikhuna an enjoyable one EVERY. SINGLE. time. Every restaurant deserves their own Camille & Jaime! They’d definitely bring all the customers in and assure that they leave with their belly’s full and well beyond satisfied.

It was a very interesting new experience, I loved it and will definitely be coming back back!! I loved the yuka fries lol and I forgot the names of the dishes we got but they were sooo good and the drinks were perfect! The service was quick and awesome as well they had a mini racks for your purses beside each table that was cute and the lighting was super cozy lol.

Just visited the restaurant as a usual dinner with my family and soon as we order the food the waiter comes out of nowhere with the comment about the the amount of money people should TIP.Worry so much about the 20 % percentage everyone should give .He said “I always said people should tip 20% “ SI NO QUIERES QUE TE RALLEN LA MADRE POR NO DAR “ disrespecting my wife and son .Really unpleasant experience not the experience you expected from a restaurant like this .Never again

Do NOT miss one of the most fabulous restaurants I’ve been to anywhere. I’m not a gusher, and I work in the industry so I definitely have a more critical perspective. At Mikhuna, the service is perfect (thanks Salvatore), the food is perfect. The atmosphere is perfect. We’ve had several dishes here, but the Squid Ink Paella, Apollo de Oliva, Rib Eye and Octopus entree are standouts. We come to Mission a few times a year on family business. We always make sure to stop in.PS-Requested a roomy table for date night (my fellas a big, tall one). This is my favorite restaurant! My favorite Peruvian chef, Chef Efran. Tonight’s Dinner was a delicious Lomo Saltado and dessert was rice pudding! Food was delicious, waitress would forget about us every now and then which is why I rated the service 4 stars. I ordered ceviche peruano, AMAZING. Kraki maki was delicious, calamari was delicious, and shrimp tallarín saltado was also amazing. Would def recommend and plan to come back :)

I was not very impressed with the food. I enjoyed the ceviche. The main course was lacking in flavor. The ribeye in my linguine was over cooked and did not taste fresh at all. The cocktails were interesting, not worth what your paying. Over all, this place is over priced for what it is. I'd expect this quality from a food truck. In fact, I've had better quality food from a food truck and fast food restraunts. Atmosphere was okay. Service was not great, but was not terrible.

Absolute 5 Star Restaurant. We drove from Brownsville to try a new place and Mikhuna met all our expectations. The food is so unique and delicious, nothing like any other restaurant can offer in the RGV. Our server, Misael was so amazing, knowledgeable and offered great service. Every dish he recommended was exquisite. We enjoyed the appetizers witzupikus tostones, sushi, the ceviche peruano, and the dessert!! A place you must try that will not disappoint.
