We got chips that were old and oily then I ordered a chile relleno which looked like it was sitting there for a while I ate sum of it. My husband ordered the cheese enchiladas, he took 1 bite and said he could taste the oil in them and they were cold . Would not recommend this place, and on top of that15 minutes later my stomach started hurting and got dirreah.

Had barbacoa plate, disgusting everything on that plate was disgusting, cold old potatoes, the barbacoa, once I found it .....90 % of the plate was potatoes, was disgusting all fat. Cold , the Ranchero beans had O taste, I asked the waitress for some more ranchera sauce, finally got it at the end as I put practically placed all the food aside, did not eat......first time visit and will be my last!!!!

I started visiting this restaurant from my first trips to McAllen, TX from Monterrey, I was 25 years old, now I'm 60. It was my mother's favorite place RIP. And I still visit it when I travel to Mc Allen. Excellent food and service. In those years we were served by a thin waitress with straight hair. Always very friendly

Food was jst average, same with the atmosphere. 2 complaints: Waitress didn't pick up none of R empty plates or dishes & she was way 2 flirty w my hubby. I can't stand eating w dirty dishes @ R table & girl, ....."Calm down, we came 2 a family restaurant, not a cantina! Respeto...., por favor" This chic was practically doin aerobics tryin 2 get sum attention!!! No reason 2 return here
