I have had many cupcakes here in the RGV these are by far the best cupcakes I have ever had the frosting is amazing it's not too sweet the butter ratio is just perfect but you don't have that slimy cover on the top of your mouth I'm so happy we found these we are a customer for lifeIt's awesome the fact that they actually cater to pet owners and have pet friendly desserts too

SO DELICOUS! I got a variety pack of 6 cupcakes as well as a mini lunchbox cake in the flavor strawberry! First time going and will be back to order cakes from them.

The service was not friendly especially for my first visit there. Being that they claimed to be the best in the rgv was an overstatement. The cupcakes were dry and the frosting was crunchy stale because of the overuse of confectioners sugar. Would not try again, have had better at home and through other local bakeries.

We found this place as my brother loves cupcakes and they had a sign that was winner of cupcake wars and has the owners place all over. Cupcakes had a good selection of them. I do not know the prices, but I am sure they were pricey. The cupcake itself was good, but a lot of sugary even for me. They place was pretty dirty I thought and the bathrooms were very dirty as well. Overall, was an okay experience.

You would think that you were getting what you pay for… homemade, from scratch cupcakes? I have made basic boxed cake my whole life, so I know exactly what it taste like and both cupcakes tasted just like that! I’ll stick to the boxed cakes instead of hard bread and overly sweet rock frosting.Ugh

The service at the counter needs work. Very first time here. Asked what each one was, I was told “it says there.” I asked if they had a description menu for the cupcakes and they looked annoyed. I went on to ask a description of each one and she looked frustrated. Great flavors. Great presentation. Absolutely delicious. Too bad the girl there wasn’t so helpful. Cupcakes are a 5, service a 2.

First and last time buying cupcakes here the frosting was extremely overly sweet the bread had no taste and was extremely dry. They do not live up the the name of having have won cupcake wars.

I have been buying cupcakes from here religiously for years. (Since I was in middle school, I am now a freshman in college) I love these cupcakes and every single of the options I have tried are delicious. The rgv cupcake factory does not disappoint in terms of flavor and quality of cupcakes. However, I am sad to say that these past few weeks I have noticed that the new employees (I’m not sure if it’s the same woman all the time) is very rude and unhelpful. Went today (these are the cupcakes I got). The lady working at the counter was not very friendly, didn’t know the answers to questions I had about some of the cupcakes, and looked at me blankly the entire time as if I were annoying her or wasting her time. I of course still recommend these cupcakes as they are amazing but I cannot say the same for their costumer service.

One word "Dry" the frosting way to sweet but better than the dry cupcake . My son spoke very highly of them but very disappointing. Nothin bunt cake is way better. No doubt.
