I saw their taco Tuesday special on TikTok. I called to make an order for pickup. I was told 15 min, when I got there it was over a 45 min wait. I didn't check the order because of how it's packaged. But both my orders were missing the pineapple for my tacos alpastor like seriously.. what I saw vs what I got ?

I've eaten here several times and has always been a pleasant dining experience with my family but never reviewed it before. People complaining about the atmosphere are being dramatic, it's a Taqueria not a 5 Star Restaurant nor they claim to be so just come and enjoy the food and friendly service. I'm reviewing this time because these people are doing a good job and deserve a good review.Parking: Parking lot is part of the large strip mall.

Super delicious! So flavorful, served very hot. The wait time can be long but worth it. The trompitos are perfect size for an individual portion. They also have Mexican chips and candies. My husband especially liked the frijoles preparados. We will definitely be repeat customers when we’re in the area. Highly recommended.

But the atmosphere just wasn't helping. By chance I took my family here on Cinco de Mayo...just a coincidence. The place is quite large, but feels largely empty. They have wooden benches for seats which is fine. But the place felt fairly empty...it had the feel of an Adult Day Care with benches inside.As far as the atmosphere goes...they had traditional Mariachi songs playing during the entire time we were there. I get it was Cinco de Mayo...but really? Do we need to listen to Jarabe Tapatío while eating our tacos? It also felt like you could overhear the conversation of others...or your conversation was heard by others. There were no "sound barriers" to cut the sound...so it felt like everything was hushed.On to the food...my wife had the espadas and I had the mini-trompo. The espadas were good...and the mini-Tromp was the definite winner here. It looked small at first, but you can definitely make 5-6 tacos from it.Fill out the place a little more..give it more atmosphere...maybe install some booths...and play something else for music...and then this place can easily hit 5 stars.

This place has been mine and my wifes go to spot whenever we are in mcallen area or if we want to sneak out and get food. Always has been since they were in the food truck! I have yet to order something we haven't liked. Best tripas and mollejas tacos weve had. The mexican burger is absolutely phenomenal. Staff is always great to us when we go, the restaurant is always clean. This will continue to be "the spot" for us!

Really friendly and attentive staff, food was great, the salsas they have at the table are really good, in my experience the red salsa isn't very good at most taquerias, but this one was so good, don't let the ambience and the decore fool you it may not look like a fancy taqueria or a chain restaurant, but the good is good and the service is quick, friendly, welcoming and attentive.Parking: Shared parking space with other businesses, the place is located at a plaza
