Don't waste your time money or Energy ever even thinking about going here. Prices of increased quality is decreased ingredients have been minimized and one of the biggest shocks, was whoever was running the window and answering the phone today. Didn't think someone for calling the restaurant didn't welcome the person in the drive-through when he went open the window. I mean it's absolutely insane how far this place has fallen since they first opened, it's disgraceful that they feel they can charge what they do and serve what they serve.

Drove from south McAllen to North McAllen to try this restaurant. We arrive. Drive though is closed and their is no meat for the burgers we wanted from their menu. Huge bummer.

Ordered The Birria Tacos ? and The Mobi Burrito. The Burrito was delicious but it a HUGE proportion so best for 2 ppl to share. The Birria Tacos were also amazing ?. The fries were a very oily and soft though.

Good flavor, big portions, a bit pricey (what isn't now a days) with a 90s theme. Parking is reduced so had trouble parking our tank but good experience over all.

Really nice 90’s inspo restaurant. The interior is decorated nicely and the tvs are set to play a variety of 90’s shows. The birria tacos had a generous amount of meat in them and were amazing. Both the crazy corn and street corn were delicious. I really recommend the cucumber lemonade. Everything was chefs kiss amazing!

This place rocks! The decor is amazing. I came for the birria tacos and was blown away. The flour tortilla is stuffed full of delicious birria. The dipping sauce was soo good. The collection of 90s things is amazing. They had baywatch and knight rider playing on the TVs. You got to check this place out!

I tried the Surf and Turf Cali tacos ? man they were so delicious rich in flavor. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. Definitely taking friends and family. The environment inside is awesome.
Cute retro decor. Seated fast. Decent menu. I tried the meaty queso for an app. It tasted like the cheap nacho queso you get from the movie theater. The tortilla chips are the thick tortilla chips. It was okay, but not my favorite. I tried the two taco comb for my entree and got the birria tacos. They were okay. It was my first time trying birria. Definitely messy, but again not my favorite type of taco. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. I would go again, but skip the queso and try a different type of taco.

I honestly wanted to love this place ! We have tried a few times and every time we end up sad with the quality .. the food doesn't look anything like what is advertised. I know so much has changed but I just ended up disappointed both times. No flavor , there was no birria available this last time. The first time we went the meat was old, oily, and burned. The service is great but the food is just lacking. We only eat out at local restaurants to support, so very sad this location just isn't one we will visit anymore.

Wanted to try this place, saw it on The Texas Bucket List. We ordered the birria tacos, “Hey Hey tacos” and the “Tex-Mex” burrito. The birria tacos were full of the flavorful meat, and great tasting tacos. It was a two napkin meal with the sauce and green hot sauce. My husband enjoyed his chicken tacos which also had rice and beans. My daughter enjoyed her burrito, she said it was full of flavor and loved the green sauce, which was a little spicy. We will definitely come back to try different things on the menu.

I was excited to finally try the food because i've heard great stuff about the place. I'm sad to say that the food and the service was disappointing. The birria tacos were ok but definitely did not live up to its name. The service was ok but you could definitely tell that the waitress did not want to be there. The mexi cali burrito was all fries and to make it even worse the fries were soggy. There was barely any meat in the burrito and it honestly didn't taste that good. Overall my experience at tingys wasn't the best and i was very disappointed.

I was so hyped to try this place out! I had heard such great things from some of my friends and family members about this place, so I decided to stop by today. First of all, the service was honestly really bad. The environment was super cool and has a retro, vintage theme...but the server we had didn't match the awesome vibes. She was very dull and inattentive. She really sounded like she didn't want to be there. I decided to brush that off because maybe she was having a bad day, so I focused in on the food. We ordered birria fries, birria tacos, the mexicali burrito, the texmex burrito, the burrito with shrimp, and the burrito with beef and chicken combined. I had such high hopes because the portion sizes were great and the food looked somewhat appealing. I was so wrong though. The birria fries were almost flavorless and the fries were very soggy. The burritos were subpar at best with the Mexicali burrito being the worst by far. This burrito was stuffed with soggy fries and had the tiniest pieces of meat. It was basically just a tortilla stuffed with fries. The other burritos were better but nothing to rave about. The birria tacos were the best thing they served but there were not even top 5 here in the valley. It didn't help that they were barely warm by the time they got to the table. I've heard great things about the place so maybe it was just a bad day but I was seriously disappointed for this being my first time. It also just must be noted that it's pricey compared to other restaurants and they charge extra for everything.
