Super nice atmosphere, perfect for sitting down to study while sipping on something. Coffee beans are high quality, and the drip is delicious. My favorite is their signature King cake with oat milk. Clean and friendly environment.

Horrible owners that treat their employees terribly. Do not support this business.

The food wasn't as good as it was last year. I still like the location in the atmosphere but unfortunately the food is the main thing I go for.

Loved the Denton location until I found out that the owners suddenly closed it down and fired the entire staff with no warning. I prefer my coffee without greedy, money-hungry owners. The baristas were absolutely lovely and fantastic at their jobs and they deserve better.

So much promise. So much potential. I've witnessed Duino come a long way from its initial grand opening 5 or 6 years ago. I've noticed a lot of welcome changes during that time including the more developed food menu and I proved seating options. However, I find myself frustrated and looking for alternatives in this ever growing corner of McKinney. The barista service is hit or miss. Some of them are pleasant and 1 or 2 seem like they should be looking for a new line of work. After so many visits you can spot when the staff are reluctant to serve "for here" orders in proper plates and mugs. Instead, they serve everything in disposable to go packaging. I assume this is to avoid washing the dishes. The food is almost at 5 stars but not quite there. The breakfast options are stellar, the pastries are mostly great w the risk of being served a cold or stale cinnamon roll or scone here or there. The hot sandwich options are the ones to avoid entirely and what drags them down in the category. Well, the BLT is presentable while the other sandwiches will leave you frustrated. The drinks are good. No issues with the coffee. I think their drink menu has everything you are looking for at a coffee shop. No frills, no gimmicks. The atmosphere is something to be aware of. I've noticed that they are not able or willing to keep the temperature stable inside. Sometimes you'll be hot and stuffy. Sometimes you'll be frigid and looking to relocate seats to avoid the a/c currents. There have been several occasions where I found myself leaving early instead of ordering more just to move to a more comfortable environment at home. Past that, there's a great mix of sofas and conversational type seating with spots for the people w their laptops. Internet and power is available if that is what you need. So, while I've seen great strides being made with the shop, I do find myself looking for something a little better. And I can do that now that the surrounding area continues to develop and provide more options to the consumer.

I was excited to try a new place. When I arrived I asked the lady behind the counter what she had brewing. Her response was, “Um…coffee.” I then elaborated that I meant what types of roast were the drip coffees. She still had no clue. Please educate your staff! I do like Eiland coffee and it was good, but the staff ruined it!
