Met friends here for dinner, it was our 4th and their 1st time. They thoroughly enjoyed their fajitas, my guiso de res was good, my friend like the green enchiladas, and the chips and salsa were excellent. Tortillas were good, only problem was I had to ask for butter 3 times and I had asked him to bring some when I ordered. Had to ask for extra napkins twice and drink refills. While it’s not their fault, they did seat a large family next to us and the 3 kids were screaming at the top of their lungs, trying to be louder than it already was in there. Just wish that when you seat couples in their 50-60s you would not sit children all around them. I have grandkids and they know how to behave in a restaurant, but would like to enjoy my meal when it’s just couples. This is not close to where we live, so it’s a compliment that we have driven here 4 times for a destination dinner.

We always have the best waiters! Everything we’ve ordered, we’ve so enjoyed! We go regularly! Yummy!

We love this place! The fajitas are amazing, but now it seems they might be closed for good?? Say it ain't so!! Hopefully they are just remodeling, which is what they told my husband last week, but when he went last Saturday the signs were gone... it'll be hard to find a replacement for their tasty 2 for $22 fajitas on saturdays!

I have to say that I had high hopes for this place. Boy was I wrong!!! Service was horrible and I have had better tex mex from Taco Bell.

El Corazon has the best beef fajitas that I have ever had. We get them at the restaurant regularly but they might be even better at home. Superior cut of beef. Perfectly grilled. Very tender and flavorful. Hands down our favorite Tex-Mex spot.

I loved this place. The salsa was on point and the fajitas were perfect. The golden margaritas was top notch and our waitress made the experience even better.

After going here a half-dozen times, we finally tried the Brisket Quesadillas and brisket tacos. All I can say is, where have you been all my life! They are just fantastic. Prior to finding those quesadillas, we tried the traditional TexMex dishes: fajitas, regular quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, etc. All are very good. Hot sauce is very good and different than a lot of places. Try the traditional jalapeños relish - jalapeños, carrots, etc. We loved the carrots! They have a mariachi band on some nights. Fun, but a little loud when they are near you. Also, can be pretty cold depending on where you get seated. Bring a coat just in case.

We really enjoyed our dinner here- the food was prepared well and the potions were generous. The staff and service were superior and kept on top of our every need, and it was very clean. I would rate 6 stars if I could. We will definitely be back!

This was our first visit and we were not overly impressed with the food or the service. The waiter was unable to get our drink order correct. The bar was out of both Tito's and Absolut Vodka which shocked me. The side of Guacamole is misleading because of all the lettuce that surrounds the small bowl. The next time we're wanting Tex-Mex we'll pass on this restaurant.

I don't know where to start to count all the things wrong with this place. The salsa they serve is so mild you could fill a baby bottle with it and serve it to an infant No serrano, no onion, no garlic, isn't this a Mexican restaurant ? Most of the food is the same, just thrown together without flavor or details. The main thing is they overcrowd the place so much that you can't get service or can't even hear the other people at your table talk. It's way too cramped and way too noisy to enjoy your food, and then they add a 5 man mariachi group to make it even more cramped and more noisy. The teenage host or hostess have no clue and just give you a table if you're lucky and one opens up. There is no one who cares or has a professional attitude. I don't go to a restaurant to get pushed around and treated like cattle. Give yourself a break and find somewhere else

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing!! The prices are very reasonable and the food is always great!! Everything that we have tried has been amazing!! Ask for the Jalepeno Relish - it is awesome!! I highly recommend El Corzaon!!! We go there very often.

February 29th 5:00 p.m. dinner service. Registered our name advise 20 minute wait took less than 10 minutes to be seated in the bar salsa was fresh had a nice smoky taste without excessive heat service was very slow likely because the restaurant was overflowing our server got the Order incorrect didn't bring the requested items and then delivered someone else's the wrong food and then added another item on to our check that was not ordered or delivered I ordered a house frozen Margarita it was nicely chilled with salt on the rim.tequila was aggressive but did the job. Food was good overall not sure if it was server or due to dinner rush. I wanted this restaurant experience to be great sadly for waitstaff service overshadowed the good food

Disappointing experience later night. I have visited this restaurant approximately 30 times since it opened. The food has been good since it first opened. My understanding is this is a relocation of a business that was in the Oak Cliff area. I don't know that to be a fact. Anyway, the food has been slipping a little bit here lately. I ordered fajitas last night and the vegetables were raw, the skillet was cold to the touch but the chicken was warm. The night actually started with the waitress taking my wife's order then my son's order and then walking away from the table without taking my order. I actually had to follow her back to the computer area to ask her if she was going to take my order. Even when the order arrived, not only was it not properly cooked but it wasn't even correctly provided. More and more the workers in this place are seen standing around on their cell phones. Some at least try to hide the fact that they're on their phone by using earbuds and sticking their phone in their pocket. I asked the manager to come help me with the order issue and he did in a very prompt manner remake my entire fajita order and it did come correctly made and sizzling hot like it is supposed to. On a side note I asked the manager why was it allowed to have the employees on their cell phones during work. It seems to me that is a big distraction from doing a better job than what they are doing. He said he has talked to the owner several times and told him his ideas of dealing with the issues, but the owner refuses to do anything about it. I don't know if that's true or not but that is what I was told. I do love going to a place that has normally good food but approaching a time where I don't know if I can continue to go with the service standards continuing to drop and employees that seem to not really care where they get your order right or they have no sense of irgency to get it out to you. They seem more concerned about being on their phones or huddling in the back visiting, joking, laughing, and cutting up in general. I've attached to photos that I took of at least two people on their phones with in my view sitting at my table. If the owner does actually read this, I ask of you to please get the service and food back on track so that I can continue to come there. Why am I giving such a review? If you have no idea where you are in the middle of nowhere and someone tells you to be in Austin in three days, how do you know how to get there? Let's say there's no GPS available. Again how are you going to get there if you have no idea where you are in the middle of nowhere. In other words if I don't give this honest feedback to let someone know where they are. how can I expect an owner to do anything about it? I don't wish anything bad on this restaurant. I actually hope this helps them be more successful.
