Some of the best ice cream in North Dallas. Everytime I go, everyone is always very friendly. Very clean atmosphere even at closing time with very cute aesthetic. AND they’re open later than most! What more could you want?

Outstanding little shop. Unassuming and not real flashy. Don’t sleep on it. This place is great. Gentleman working the counter was as kind and helpful as I’ve seen in a very long time. Take note other shops because kindness and compassion goes a very long way given that it’s a limited commodity now days. The ice cream is great and tasty. The Ferrero flavor is incredible but they all are. The waffles and cones are fresh and light. It smells so good and I didn’t try the cookies but they smelled delightful. Give Sugar a try, you’ll be glad you did!

Actually expected more from this place based on the reviews, but left with a bit of disappointment. The decor and atmosphere is cute, but the place is small and heating up quickly from all the cooking. We came in on Saturday evening and there was only one lady working the entire shop, that is taking orders and actually making them. The food is kind of average and there is better ice cream in the area.

The guy behind the counter was very welcoming and offered to explain the menu, give out samples, and make whatever I'd like even though it was only 15 minutes till close. Ended up with a scoop of the strawberry cheesecake and mango. Both were very good. The menu was very tempting, so I'll be back to try more.

Incredibly friendly staff, delicious ice cream. Bubble waffle is made fresh when you order, and the macaroon I ordered as the topping was one of the best and fresh tasting macaroon I've ever tasted. Definitely worth the visit for customer service, and quality of dessert. You won't be disappointed.

Took our girls out for a special treat and Sugar did not disappoint!! The owner was SO nice and happy to accommodate the girls with their order! He was the sweetest and they LOVED their cookie ice cream! The cookies were warm and freshly baked. The ice cream was so good!! We will definitely come back…soon!!!

This was my first time visiting this ice cream shop!! It was a very cute and chill vibe. Ambiance: The shop has a low volume level with light music playing in the background. There is very bright lighting inside and it is a pretty small shop. There is only stool type seating inside.Service: The workers are very kind and accommodating. They allow you to sample the flavors and also choose one free topping to go on top of the ice cream. Chocolate ice cream: They had a lot of interesting flavors but I just stuck to the basic chocolate! The ice cream itself was a very subtle chocolate flavor. It was also a decently sized scoop for just being one scoop. Toppings: They had an interesting variety of toppings but I would not that the options are very limited. But it's nice that they do offer one free topping!Waffle: I ordered one waffle and it was decent. I like how it came out fresh and warm with chocolate sauce on top. However, I wish the waffles were a little thicker because the ice cream kinda overpowers the thin waffle.Overall, they stay open pretty late which is nice and the ice cream was good!!
