Love me some Elwoods. They've got Trivia nights every Tuesday, FREE comedy shows the 2nd Wednesday of every month. We love the burgers and of course, the bag of chicharones. I'm more of a bar patron, so for me.....the drink menu takes the cake. The guiness is always poured right and the drink specials are always different. Price range is in par with the area. We love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Front Door was easily accessible, Inside area is adequate in terms of movement space. Lounge chairs provide an area for easy access. They are, however usually being used. Bathrooms are spacious, the outside is also easily accessible and provides GREAT room for lounging.

BEWARE!!! Watch your bill people, in McKinney TX location I ordered the Elwood burger $12 on menu (good and not bad price) and water. They inflated to $17 on itemized receipt , then automatically added 20% gratuity (ok fine) then if you look at total on itemized receipt vs the merchant receipt that you sign asking for more tip which shows a dollar or so more than the itemized receipt. Not cool! Not a bad place and nice to hang with friends but this practice is not good and cheats people. I tip well normally but leaving this review out of principle. Shame on them!!!

While they do definitely have TVs with sports games on, I definitely wouldn't consider it a sports bar. It's a little more upscale than some neighborhood pubs or bars, considering the decor and dress of most of the patrons. They do have a decent beer selection and some really cool food options, such as the broccoli appetizer that we had. It really was unusual but in a good way and I enjoyed it a lot. I was in the mood for something light so I had the Mediterranean Bowl and it was good as well, especially the hummus. My wife had a burger and fries and enjoyed them both but especially the crispy fries. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to try it more of the menu items and beers on tap.

Wowza. One of my favorite burgers in a long time (Oklahoma Smash.) Got a side of Mac and cheese that was savory and just the right blend of cheesy and crunchy from the bread crumbs.Started off with the loaded tots and pan seared Brussels. Serving size was above average and the flavors were great.Our server Dylan was friendly and attentive. The place was dead at 11:30a on a Thursday. First time here for lunch. It’s hopping in the evenings.

My cousin and I were looking to grab a quick drink and some bites on a Friday night and we just so happened to see The Elwood. The place looked really laid back and there wasn't a crowd (which was a plus). We sat at the bar and ordered the nachos, bread pudding and a couple of cocktails. I can't remember the names of the drinks, but they were okay. The nachos were different but in a good way (really good flavor)! The bread pudding wasn't like what you'd get in New Orleans but it was still enjoyable.
Very laid back and I loved the decor! The bartenders were incredibly friendly and helpful. I wanted something light and was recommended the Broccoli cheddar soup or chili, but was advised the chili could be spicey. I appreciated the feedback as spicey can disagree with me at times. I opted for a Caesar salad and Broccoli cheddar soup and they were both fantastic! Ceasar salad is a hit or miss most places but here it was fantastic! I will definitely be back! It also wasn't two expensive! For my food and maybe 7 drinks (there were two of us) out tab was under $50Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to move around outside and inside

This spot is a total winner! The "fish & chips" here are legit, and their old fashioned is straight-up killer. The staff is always chill and laid-back, making it my ultimate go-to joint when my buddies swing by. Solid food, amazing drinks, and a vibe that's just right for a guys' night out. It's my top recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy some good eats and drinks in a laid-back atmosphere.

We came in today around noon after church and it had been a while. We had been several times when they opened and it was good. Great service, food.We walked in today and there was someone behind the bar, and someone at the bar. That's it, and us. It's seat yourself, so we came in, no greeting at all. The bartender and patron (maybe they were friends) were involved in a lengthy conversation about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce so maybe they didn't notice us. After a little while, someone came over and asked if we wanted drinks. Not sure his name because he didn't say, just asked about drinks. I think maybe he smiled once at the end, but seemed like he didn't really want to be there. Food was good but unremarkable. Too many places now to choose from locally to feel like we are doing them a favor by coming in. Wish them well, but doubt we'll be back.

Cass is the best bartender around. She is one of the big reasons we return. The menu could use an update/overhaul but all in all the food available is good. The service especially at the bar is great and the place has great atmosphere.
