Have never had a complaint about this Coney Island but after recently buying a Frito pie I do now. It tasted like someone added too much black pepper! It totally ruined the taste of the chili in the Frito Pie. I won't be going back to this one soon.
Service was great, food was barely palatable. Nothing tasted the way it should. Chili did not taste like chili, the weiners did not taste like weiners, even the cheese was bland. Bland is the word. I was very disappointed, especially for the prices we were charged. ?

I forgot to take pics but I ordered the Empire dog with sauerkraut, grilled onions, and mustard. The buns were toasted and the topping were perfect. Never been here but from CC TX. I wish we had one here in this city. The buns were amazing! Husband got the chili cheese with mustard and onions...he also enjoyed the hot dog. Place was not packed only two people in the restaurant besides our group. My friends ordered the Chicago dog(the best according to him) and other friend ordered...read full review
