Thank you Freckles for being my "chicken saviour"! I live across the lake and have to go far to find good chicken AND good service. Not anymore! Less than 15 mins away from home I can get great, hot, fresh chicken and fries and awesome customer service, THANK YOU Ms.Liz! My husband and I appreciate your kindness and the grat food. BTW, he absolutely loves the gizzards. He said they were cooked perfectly without him having to say a word! We will be back!!!

Best chicken I have had maybe ever. I was hesitant since it was in a fuel station but I would have been a fool and missed out on some amazing food if I didn't try it. Boasted that it's better chicken than my mama's and that was an understatement. Great service, the cook came out to make sure that we enjoyed and was A-1. I hope they open more of them up north.Stop in or you're missing out. I recommend the dark meat thighs and the fried corn. Seasoning game strong and cooked to crispy perfection and that koolaid. Iykyk.Shout out to Brandon in the kitchen for his cooking skills and hospitality. God Bless!

Soooooo yall have really been gatekeeping about Freckles and I’m upset about it. That chicken was soooo doggone good. Fries fresh. Seasoning not overly salty. Freckles juice hit the spot. But let me tell y’all about this DEEP FRIED CORN. LAWD HAMMERCYYYYYYYYY. Best ever. I’d definitely drive all the way back over there for that corn. Add a little bit of that freckles sauce on it and that put it over the top. But it don’t even need the sauce. First time here and I’ll be going back every time I’m in the area. And the cashier was soooo professional polite. Had a really great experience. Thank yall so much

Food is delicious and fresh. I see some items were removed from the menu but still a large selection of things to choose from.Service was ok. Not a lot of interaction with cashier. Cook (I assume is the owner) is really nice and goes about as if he wants you to return.Atmosphere a little weird because it shares with a gas station and tea shop. They try their best.Overall this is a place YOU HAVE TO TRY. The food is just too good not too. You can always grab it too go.

My only complaint was that my order was wrong and I didn’t realize it until I got home, which isn’t close. I tried to call multiple times but no one answers. Check your order and enjoy!

Chicken so good you will pinch yourself to check if you are dreaming!!! Since I found this spot I have not went to Rudy, or Henderson and both are close to me!!! I would love to see FISH NUGGETS on the menu!!! ?? Also maybe a salad of some kind even if it's a side salad. But I will definitely be a return customer. I love the customer service it's amazing from the cashier to the cook!!!! The cashier always ask and offer suggestions even though I been there multiple times! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!
