This is my new favorite spot! I have only had the pasta (several times), but if the rest of the menu’s food is cooked to perfection like the pasta, you will never go wrong eating here. The cakes are also excellent. I had the red velvet and it simply will melt in your mouth! I will try the fish next! I can not wait to try it. I am writing this review while my stomach is aching for their food but they closed today!!! *tear drop* Go by and give them a try! You will crave this food from the first bite!

Found this gem on Google and was very pleased. They are a fairly new establishment, they stated they opened around December.When I walked in everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful on what was popular to order and very informative and answered all my questions and accommodated my request ?.The food came out in a timely manner (about 15 mins or less). I ordered the Half Pound Dinner (sides: okra and Mac n cheese) and the Build Your Own Pasta: Penne, Garlic Herb sauce, added mushrooms, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes ($1 ea extra for added items).Taste & flavor of all items were on point! I don't really eat fish or okra but I did try them to see and they both were seasoned well you can taste the slight saltiness and other seasonings in the batters. My favorite of the fish and okra was the crunch, the batter on the fish did not fall apart like other places and the okra was not slimy on the inside. My husband is so picky on his fish and okra but he about hurt himself eating almost all of his food! He definitely loved the seasoning and flavor of all.The PASTA, oh my goodness in my belly! It was a flavor battle in my mouth and it was so delish and they accommodated my request on not putting a lot of sauce in it and it was perfect. Had my husband try also and he was dancing and he doesn't like mushrooms but loved everything about it.The only thing we were "just okay" on was the Mac n cheese, it was creamy and good on the saltiness but could use just a lil something. The other was the garlic bread was good but bc it was wrapped in the foil,.it steamed so it was a little too soft.We will definitely order here again!! Keep up the great flavor!

You post to damn near say " mhmmmmm" bro i ain't say that. I'm black too. Nothing had seasoning fam. They didn't put they food in this. Bro this post to taste like a thanksgiving. I gave y'all 30% tip on a $34 meal. My girl only ate 2 pieces while i finished mines cause i was hungry. I even favorited y'all before i got here. Bro the cooks don't eat the food i know they don't. I ain't get no receipt but ion care cause this y'all spaghetti cup too. Fam add seasoning yall got black cooks i am lost for words ...I'm black by the way too.

This place is AMAZING! Today was my first time visiting Lutfi's in Mesquite when I tell you the atmosphere is great! The staff are so kind & they fixed my order fast! I got the family dinner with two large sides. The fried catfish was DELICIOUS and the okra & mac n cheese tasted just like my mom made them! I will be back for this tasty meal again for sure! You also get bang for you buck! 16 catfish fillets & two sides for $34, you can't beat it!

I relocated from KC to Texas about a year ago and definitely miss a lot of my favorite food spots. So when I heard Lutfi's was coming in town I had to try it out. It did not disappoint! The fish was fried perfectly. The batter had a different flavor than what I'm accustomed to but all in all, great choice. I had the full pound , macaroni and cheese plus a drink. The macaroni was fresh. The portions were HUGE. I was celebrating a birthday and chose to make this my special dinner. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The interior is small so not fitting for larger groups, however they have a drive thru and were prompt with our food. My sister had the shrimp and fish combo with fries (delicious) and my mom had a half pound fish, spaghetti and mac-n-cheese. Everyone was satisfied. Only thing I will say is the tartar sauce didn't do it for me. I'll be back tho because the fish was superb and I need to try the pasta.

I passed this place and I didn't give it much thought, it's easy to miss and unassuming...however the food...omg! So flavorful. Give it a chance the guys that work there are awesome! We had the fried fish family meal. It came with two sides. I chose green beans and French fries. Delicious on its own. Even The tarter sauce was jazzed up.

Stop searching for some decent fish! Head on down to Lutfi's. Fish seasoned well, the sides were good. You okra heads no soggy okra over here at all. Oh and the best part for last...the customer service was awesome. Like Lutfi's staff really impressed me. Keep up the good work guys. Now if yall do daiquiris be ready for me to come on in and make myself home.

Got the 1/2 lb fried catfish with spaghetti. & green beans. Catfish was crunchy, seasoned really good, and came with some well made tarter sauce. Spaghetti also seasoned good without meat. Green beans also seasoned well. Small place with good fast and courteous service!!!!!!! Will be returning. Recommend visiting.
The food was sooo good I inhaled it before I could take a picture. I had the 1/2 lb of fish with two sides I choose green beans and French fries the meal was big enough for me and my daughter to share. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly. The green beans were so good you could just eat them alone and be content with life. The server was so nice she handed me an extra side of them on the house. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. The food is impeccable the hospitality can’t be beat and the vibe is chill. Please do yourself a favor and stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Chileeee I ate my food already so no pictures ?? it was nicely presented in my to go box with aluminum foil to keep everything warm! I got the Cajun crawfish Pasta and baby yea they did it with that one!! This was my first time and I’m definitely going back AGAIN!! It wasn’t too greasy and it was seasoned to perfection! The portion served for the amount of $$ was 100% worth it! I also tried the lemon cake and it topped everything off! The little interaction I had with the rep that answered the phone was very nice! I am from New Orleans and that meal was the closest I’m getting to home at the moment! Y’all gotta try it at least one time for the one time!

Interesting place with a lot of fish options as well as side dishes. The fish was crispy and fresh and the fried okra was very tasty. I got the blackened and my mom and daughter in law had the fried fish. I loved the flavor of both. They have a small seating area inside and they also do orders To-Go. Glad we tried them out, I was doing low carb but the pasta looked delicious as well, lots of options for everyone!

Y'all..... This is place is legit. Came in earlier today for lunch, got the Cajun chicken penne pasta and the boyfriend got crawfish Cajun fettuccini. Simply amazing and one of the best pastas we've ever had in a while now. Will be coming back again to try everything else and can't wait!
