Very dirty and in need of many repairs. The staff are nice but the hotel is no where near the quality I’ve come to expect for Marriott. It is clear there is little effort to maintain the rooms as many things are in poor repair. See pictures below.

Took 10 minutes to ring up a pot pie at the front desk, just to get back to my room and find no microwave in the microwave spot. Looked for a place to microwave it downstairs and found nothing, unfortunate

Fantastic place to stay if going to the State Fair of Texas. The staff will bend over backwards to ensure your stay is perfect. Triana and Raquel and the fine fella that ran the Bistro were especially helpful

Fresh cookies, a clean, modern room, and good food close by…what else can I say? The breakfast/dining area was a great place to post up to clear out my Inbox after traveling. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The fitness center is basic but sufficient. There is also a pool.

Great staff and great service! Taylor was so nice during check in, Jacob was fast and friendly, Tierney was great at check out and Alicia and Lacy were so much fun at breakfast. The hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants walking distance. Stay here!

I had a great experience at this hotel. Taylor had great conversation and gave me some amazing recommendations for the area. She’s amazing at her job. Alicia was wonderful to talk to in the morning time in the Bistro. Esthela was so kind and sweet in the hallways of the hotel. Angie was able to to give me all the information I needed for my trip and more. This hotel is highly recommended the people really care!

This is day 2. I was welcomed yesterday by the most friendly people. Day 2 different crew, Jacob was super nice. The people here made my experience the past two days fun. Travelled from Boston, and both nights management + staff was just real good people.

I rated this property a 5 star experience. This was the perfect stay. The staff (Jacob, Chase, Tierney & Alicia) really made this experience for our family. The world needs more people like these four. Especially in the hospitality industry.

The first room’s bathroom door could not close, raised to the hotel staff, they changed our room right away, they also made an effort to bring the keys to our room to help expedite the room change upon my request. Really appreciate the responsiveness. Took a bit longer to get the printout receipt, but still within reasonable wait time, all good. No major issues. Appreciate the complimentary bottled water. Clean bathroom, easy parking, and quiet.

I've stayed in many Courtyard properties, and they have always been a cut above. Unfortunately, this location didn't rise to that level. First, the location is difficult to get into as it is directly on the freeway frontage road, also called the freeway entrance ramp. The main entrance is directly off the frontage road, which is not only heavily traveled, but at higher than normal road speeds. The entrance was just before a curve and was a blank driveway without any Courtyard Entrance signage. I passed this entrance the first time around, only to end up on a freeway. Eventually, I found another way into the property using a rear entrance from an adjacent street. After an extremely long and challenging travel day, we arrived at the hotel much later than anticipated and were glad to be assigned a room. The rooms in this property have been remodeled, with the set up slightly strange in that the bed is at 90 degrees to most everything else in the room, including the television. The room design also did not make it easy to find a location to place a second suitcase once the luggage stand was in use. Once in the room we noted that it seemed quite cool, so we turned on the heat. Nothing happened. As it was late and we were very tired, we simply went to bed. In the morning, it was noted that the room was not as clean as one would expect. There was no bathmat in the bathroom, a challenge that was resolved using a spare bath towel. The shower curtain liner was also missing. It was then noted that there were odd "spots" on the bathroom floor, fairly disgusting. We then found long dark hair in both the bathroom and near the sink. In all, this area of the room had not been cleaned well at all. Now we come to the temperature in the room. My wife travelled with me on this trip, staying in the room while I was on business. Returning mid afternoon she was all bundled up as the room was still very cool. The heat was not working. Commenting to the front office staff, they immediately reassigned us to another room for the balance of our stay, but we needed to move all of our stuff on our own. We moved into the new room, which was also quite cool. The heat was turned on and the fan immediately started running, blowing cold air around. No heat came out of that system. Contacting the front office, they had a technician come up and he confirmed that this heating system was not working as well. Strike Two! Letting the front desk know of this situation, they immediately responded with a third room assignment, but only after the person in charge at that time went into the potentially assigned room to test the heating system. This one worked well and the room was clean. To the credit of the management staff, they did compensate us for the first night, with extensive apologies. In all, when I return to the Dallas area for further business, I will be looking at another location to stay.

Lavita and Angie provide outstanding customer service at this Courtyard. Compared to others throughout the US, this hotel provides a very clean and elegant facility. Conveniently located right off I-30, it’s only 10 minutes from Dallas. A great hotel, not only for business but for leisure.

Loved where this hotel is located. Right next to I30 and 635. Right in the heart of Mesquite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to covid the resources were limited such as pool use and the Bistro wasn't open but that didn't effect our stay. I would return to this hotel.

The bed was so comfy! The pillows were perfect and so comfortable, it was a little piece of heaven. The blackout curtains were amazing! I loved the food from the restaurant downstairs. I liked the little travel size items as well as the shampoo and body wash in the shower. I only wish there was tea so I could make hot tea. The view wasn’t the greatest of the highway, but I loved my room. I wish I could’ve watched some channels on tv but couldn’t figure it out.

This place has incredible food! Plus it offers Starbucks drinks. Breakfast is excellent and the Happy Hour is perfect for an after business get together.

Marriott Courtyard Bistro's are awful. The only reason to go here is if you want a completely overpriced, bland meal. And what kind of drinks pair best with this kind of meal are very "measured" and overpriced drinks. Their drink prices are about the same as any other higher-end bar, but they don't deliver on quality. They have a limited selection of wines, liquors, and mixers. Marriott really missed the mark on their Bistro's. I stay in Marriott properties very often (almost every week) but their Courtyard Bistro's are an absolute last resort for my meals.
