“What a rare find in Midland! The environment is cozy and friendly. The Twilight Imperial stout was the best stout I've tried from local breweries. The token currency makes for a great deal, and the selection of games is impressive! It's been 15yrs since I read Name of the Wind, but after visiting the Waystone, I may need to reread it soon. Very cool theme.“
“The food truck(s) today were on point. The beer here was good. They have a sour which was tasty and a 10% cider. The cider really didn't have any flavor. I know, ciders generally have strong flavors, but this was exceptionally bland. Everything was overall enjoyable. The service is always good and the people friendly.“
“Driving across country solo with my pup Biscuit. It was dark and rainy, and I was craving a beer and a place to stop for the night. Followed my map and it brought me into what looks like more commercial space than anything. And at night walking around trying to find it was a bit eerie. But I was immediately welcomed in by the owner Aaron and what appeared to be the local regulars. Everyone was so kind and helpful! Talked to the owner for at least 2 hours. I'm an IPA gal, so the one he had on tap (forgot the name) was delicious. They didn't have a food truck when I was there, but Aaron did mention he usually does have them. But you're welcome to bring food!Not sure if or when I'll be back in Midland, TX, but if I'm ever back I'll stop in for sure.“
