Authentic Tex-Mex food in a charming restaurant off the beaten path. We were delighted by this restaurant that had been highly recommended by a friend who has visited practically every Mexican restaurant in town. We were greeted warmly by the owner, Maricella. I have ate all over Midland, in just about every restaurant there is. This place may just be the best. Service is EXCELLENT. Food is great. Have never had a terrible experience here, and unlike all the other normal eating places, these girls care about their work. Always a smile, and always friendly. The Chiliquiles here is the BEST!

If you ever find yourself taking a detour off of Cotton Flat and I-20 on the south side of the highway a couple hundred yards is one of The Best tasting Mexican food restaurants in the Permian Basin. The red enchiladas sauce is a mild smoky red sauce that doesn't break and is seasoned just like my grandmother made. I had the combination Gorditas plate which had a ground beef, Asado and a Chile Verde. This is a must try!
