Disappointing to see many 'long time customers' leaving 1 star reviews after ONE 'bad' incident. But that's typical with many of the hate-filled people in this area. My family has been eating here for over 15 years and maybe once in that entire span has the food not been fantastic. That really says a lot if you know anything about Midessa and how awful a lot of the food places are around here. This restuarant is amazing and I am happy to keep tossing money their way in exchange for 10/10 food and kind service. Support your local businesses instead of tearing them down over the smallest of issues. Shame on you.

We come here often, the food is just about always on point. With the exception of one time that I took my parents and early afternoon and it was a disappointment. But normally the food and services is always superb ?. And the restaurant and restrooms are clean. Servers are friendly and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

However, one drawback is that the food doesn't seem to be freshly prepared; rather, it's frozen, which is standard for many basic Mexican restaurants. Additionally, my meal seemed to have been microwaved, resulting in a disappointing inconsistency in temperature—hot on top but cold in the middle. Considering the price point, which can be quite high, I expected better in terms of freshness and preparation. Despite these shortcomings, the food itself was decent, although it didn't stand out as exceptional. Overall, Gerardo's Casita offers an okay dining experience, but there's room for improvement, particularly in terms of food quality and value for the price.Parking: The parking can be a hit or miss. It could be difficult finding somewhere to park because the parking lot is very small and it is shared with another building.

However, the margarita fell short, lacking the expected strength and tasting more like overly sweet lemonade. While I'd gladly return for the delectable cuisine, the drinks left much to be desired. Catering was provided for our football and cheer end of season banquet and they did a great job! We had lots of compliments about the great taste in food. The service was seamless as staff communicated effectively throughout. Thank you for your service! We will definitely be a returning customer!
