I received an email from the general manager of the midland Carinos and was pleased they offered to refund our meal and also a free meal in the future. We did not want to use the free meal but I accepted the refund and sent them the information they requested to process the refund. Then I NEVER heard back after. Definitely wouldn't recommend. EVER.

Lisa H was such an awesome host! She gave recommendations and was so knowledgeable about the food and had everything out very fast! Always had a smile on her face!! She was worth the visit!! The food it pretty good. I got the lasagna which was a little salty but good my kids had shrimp scampi and the jalapeños chicken Alfredo which they like but wish had more sauce. The bread with garlic oil the bomb! This place has been around a while and is a little worn but its a comfortable atmosphere.

We have lived in Midland for 5 years and went past this restaurant several times. Today was the first time we ate here. I have lived in Pittsburgh and New York in the past. Hands down the best Italian food I have had here so far. Delicious. Fresh bread and oil with crisp garlic for starters. The spinach artichoke dip was such a uniquely different way and amazingly delicious. I can't even describe how good the lasagna is! My 2 years and me ate the entire lasagna. My son begged us to get more chicken nuggets to go he liked them so much. If you want a delicious, fullfilling Italian meal, please don't hesitate to stop here! I can't wait to go again!!!

Welcome to Carino's:My family loves the food at Carino's. This restaurant has been a family favorite for years, but it's been the same thing every time we come here. 1. Stand up front for 3-5 minutes without anyone acknowledging that we're here (we've never been here when the restaurant is even 50% full). The cook usually has to yell out for the 2 waitresses to look at us a few times without tending to us. Feels like maybe the cooks should be wearing hair nets, but I'm no health inspector.2. Get sat down and wait minimum of 3-5 minutes and have even waited over 10 minutes before a waiter comes to us. They seem to like the booth that's most tucked away to sit and hang out. 3. Awesome food!4. Drinks as allowed by break time, and the draft seems to be broken most of the time lately. The food alone keeps making us want to come back time and time again, but the service has been borderline suggestive that if they can ignore you long enough, you might leave (which we've done numerous times).

Tried it out again after some bad past experiences with food, service, and atmosphere. Tonight was great..its cleaned up,the food was great and our waitress/ bartender was great. Hope it stays that way !

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The best food hands down. The fire oven pizza is so delicious, the chicken fettuccine was so fresh and delicious. The bread is amazing as well. Service was professional and friendly. Great place and we will be back again

Good food (at least my experience was good food). Cool atmosphere too pretty chill spot. Now if I could get a waitress not tweaking out on meth that would be cool I guess.

Food was amazing, and service was the best! Joey and Tia made my family feel welcomed and showed us so much hospitality. Will definitely recommend to anyone and most definitely will be coming back!

I am new in the area and was aware of Carino's in a different city. This location in Midland appears deserted; not inviting from the outside. There were not many customers when I entered and waited several minutes before receiving instructions that seating is open. I chose the high top tables in the bar as I was alone.Didn't expect to see Sponge Bob playing on one of the big screens; did I say I was in the bar!Only ordered an appetizer; spinach dip and artichoke dip. Pita chips were stale, but warm...interesting.Not the quality of food nor the dining experience I remember of the Carino franchise.

TIA!!!!! Tia is amazing! She’s a server and a bartender! 2 in 1!! She is the sweetest, most personable waiter we’ve had! And the food was fantastic. We will be frequenting JC’s! Do yourself a favor and go eat some pasta!!

I am not sure why this place is not packed. Nice restaurant. Great food. Friendly service. Honestly, it's one of the best restaurants in Midland TX. I have never had a bad experience here and recommend it to anyone craving good Italian food or just a nice local place for happy hour.

We walked in a did not have to wait to be greeted. Sat in the bar and Tia let us know she would be right with us. She brought us bread and made some suggestions for appetizers and drinks. She was very friendly and in a great mood. We had spinach and artichoke dip, which looked like soup but was phenomenal, with their homemade chips. Delicious. We ordered traditional buffalo wings. We decided that we definitely will go back for the wings except order them well done. We like the skin crispy and these almost were perfect. My husband was kind of sad they did not have celery, but he still enjoyed it. We met one of the new managers when he came by to check that all was well. They have made many changes and they were certainly for the better. We will be back!

This was an absolute atrocious experience! I took my daughter to eat for lunch and there was absolutely nobody in the restaurant but still took about 10 minutes to seat us and them about another 10 minutes to get our drinks. They finally brought us the hard and old bread that was almost raw and tasted disgusting, the dry garlic was disgusting ? and was chewy and stale!!I never got my salad when it was part of meal and the pasta was undercooked and parts were hard... This just had to be the worst experience at that restaurant I ever had! If I could give it a -10 I would!

Our waitress was very nice. But the food was gross. The bread was definitely microwaved & hard as a rock. Over salted fettuccine Alfredo. Yellow salad. Just not satisfying at all. Only giving 2 stars because of the service. Won’t be back!

Joey the new Carinos manager promised he would make it right after a bad night. Well he sure did that. The service from Angelina was amazing. The food was hot and delicious!! He is turning this around and making it a great place to eat! Thank you Joey and Angelina!!
