The Chefs special is the best roast beef enchiladas/ flauta around. The guacamole is delicious! Margaritas are great! I can't wait to be back in Midland to eat some of the greatest Mexican food in Texas!

One of the best Mexican food joints in Big Spring. My girlfriend turned me on to this place. She had fond memories of it from when she was a kid visiting her family. I love their guacamole! Not a bunch of unwanted extras added to it, just a predominant garlic flavor, without being overwhelming. That's just the highlight. All of their food is great as well. Very Tex-mex if that's what you want.

This is one of the local best Mexican food restaurants in the area. Their chicken fajitas are amazing. Must get them spicy! The variety of chips and chicherones mixed together are perfect . Quest is an amazing starter here. If you get the enchiladas try the red or sour cream sauce. Wait staff is what makes this place. You feel like family.

Tampico is a Midland tradition and my family has celebrated many a birthday, anniversary, engagement, graduation, family reunion and plain old quiet evening out for more than 50 years now. I remember picking it for my sixth birthday treat dinner back in 1970!!! I ate my first-ever plate of nachos here! The food has remained the same delicious quality through the decades. The service is excellent and the staff treats you like family while you're there. Don't let the location and quiet outer appearance fool you - the atmosphere is inside and you'll be glad you went in. Live mas at the Tampico - where every bite will become a memory. I no longer live there, but you bet I make a run straight here when I visit. A don't-miss!

Delicious! Tampico's is arguably the best mexican restaurant in town. It had a very cozy ambience with great and personable service. Sixto and Cruz were great servers and seem to handle the Sunday rush very well! Not to mention the expansive menu and delicious salsa with a nice little kick! If you go, the fajitas are a must! I will definitely be coming back!
