I went to Whataburger and placed my order for two sandwiches at 12:09 am. It is currently 12:41 am and we are still all stuck in this line. I called them and they're saying they had a big order and they did not ask the car at the window to pull around. The way the drive-thru is situated, there's no way to leave the line once you're in it. I feel like I've been taken hostage. This is insaneI just got to the window at 12:43 am. I told them to keep their food. I was in line for 34 minutes. I'll NEVER return The manager looked at me, smiled, then flashed what looked like a gang sign at me with his hands. It may or may not have been, but I was a police officer many years ago and it reminded me of the hand signs different gang members would flash to each other back then. I told them I'd never come back to this store and the manager laughed at me. He literally laughed. DISGUSTING behavior. This place would be out of business in any other town that had more late night options.I recorded a video of my interaction at the window and took this screenshot of the manager smiling and flashing me what I presume to be a gang sign with his hands. This business ought to be ashamed of itself. This entire chain should be embarrassed.

Ate there today and it was better than it has been the past few months. They still seem understaffed, but we had our food within minutes of sitting down this time and it was hot and the order was correct. Restaurant wasn't as clean as it could have been, but again understaffed like everywhere else in town. You have to pay people more in Midland TX if you want them to stay engaged.

Went through drivethu and got my order. I went home and realized they gave me the wrong order. Went back with the receipt and waited 10 more minutes. Got my order and saw that it was what I ordered. Went home, opened it up, and totally made wrong and missing items that I paid for. Do disappointing. Not to mention, sitting in drive thru is a 20-minute wait . The customer service in this town is so ridiculous.
