We came in early Easter morning to be greeted by the happiest face! Jose was the team member that got our table. Tamra has waited on us before and she also is always smiling and friendly.People are inclined to find the Waffle House beneath them but I love the line cooks, watching them make our food and hearing the calls. I don’t know everyone’s names here but this is a great team and thank you Jose for a wonderful experience,.

My friend and I visited this location on Thursday, March 14th at approximately 12:30. We were seated for about 15 mins and no one came to take our order. There was a table behind us and the waitress went to them and asked if they needed anything else and didn’t acknowledge us sitting at our table. My first thought was maybe we are not in her section. Then, 2 males entered and sat in front of us. It wasn’t 3 mins before a different waitress rushed to them with silverware and napkins ready to take their order. I interrupted and said “Ma’am we have literally been sitting here waiting to be serviced” she looked up and said nothing. So my friend and I gathered our things and went to patronize another establishment worthy of my hard earned money!

2/24/24: I asked for "bacon..well, well, well, well done." Didn't get it. I don't know who thought white chewy bacon is good for you, but it's not. It's nasty and disgusting. They hide it between 2 pieces of bread and cheese. Still nasty. My hash browns were so crispy (didn't ask for "crispy") cutting them into edible pieces was a joke. The meal never came all at once to our table of 3. Had they left my bacon cooking for as long as it took to get the last item of our meal (patty melt), it would have been properly cooked. This is the 1st time this location has been a disappointment. We won't come back on Saturday during the time period we came today. We'll wait for the good crew to show up later.

My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch. There was a group of black teenagers there who were very loud and obnoxious. Several customers were complaining amongst themselves about how noisy they were and how they couldn't enjoy their meals etc. None of the customers nor any of the employees asked them to quiet down. We just ate as quickly as possible to get out of the nonstop noise. As we were leaving one of them told us "Don't come back." I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. Again, we never said a word to the people who made all the customers have an unpleasant meal. I didn't say anything to them when they told us to not come back either. We just ignored them. However, since we were told not to come back and didn't enjoy eating in an elementary school lunch room environment we definitely won't be back.I don't know if it had anything to do with our race but it was totally disrespectful. None of the staff came out to apologize either for the totally disrespectful comment made to us. The food was good for the most part ( bacon was burnt) and the waiter was nice enough. If not for the food and waiter I would have given this a zero star rating if possible.

Visiting Waxachalie for a wedding for the weekend. Excited to try out a Waffle House since they are non-existent in San Diego. Staff was super friendly, our server Clara was so sweet. Food was really good and loved the hometown vibe.
